Following on from the previous post the annual rivals 4 charity match between Hearts and Hibs fans will take place at Easter Road in 2012 and the site is already taking details of Hearts fans who would like to be kept up to date with the trials.

This is an opportunity that you don't want to miss as a Hearts fan! We have not had a great turnout from East of Scotland players but I am hopeful that we can change this for the 2012 trials.

For more information on the match itself and to register please go to www.rivals4charity.co.uk click on the Hearts badge and complete the form.

Thank you

Alan McKay
(Tollcross Thistle AFC & Hearts Fans Manager)

Great day out and a great experience for any Hearts fans whatever level, had a class time last year, mostly because of the banter and spirit we had which helped up pump the scum 8 1 :)

The boys in charge were fantastic and it was run like a professional team which helped alot! Your chance to be treated like a pro for a day and beat that mob in their own backyard!!
Show me a good loser and i'll show you a loser!

As a member of the coaching staff I am starting to get excited about the prospect of turning Hibs over at Easter Road, no greater feeling in the world!!
This is a really good opportunity to play at an SPL ground and to don the maroon strip in aid of worthwhile charity!

Get your names up asap!!

lads,
this is a great thing,
i know Alan well, puts everything into it so he can see his team win,

great cause as well, if you are a DIRTY Jambo, then get involved and try and pump the hibes in their place.

P.S on a final note, if heard the guy running the Hibs is a DIRTY Jambo.

He is indeed Scorer, played in the last game for Hibs and as you'll see from the highlights sold the 1st goal, clearly a Jambo!!

Guys this is a great day and something you should get involved in especially if you're a Hearts fan. I know Alan will be fair and pick the best team possible. It's something different and get's you away from the missus for a day!!....oh and it's for a good cause.

Scott Moncrieff who started the Rivals 4 Charity event a few years ago now has put in a tremendous amount of effort over the years to ensure each year gets bigger and better.

I was fortunate enough to play at Tynecastle in 2011, and will definately be looking to be part of the squad for 2012's game down at Easter Road.

As previously mentioned training starts in January and runs each sunday until the game itself at the start of April. Granted takes a little extra commitment from players ontop of their training and games with their clubs, but definately worth it.

From the training to game itself, the whole experience was fantastic and i would encourage any Hearts supporters (or hibs supporters) to have a look into getting involved.

The event is all done in aid of Charity, which is fantastic, but you cannot take away the Hearts Hibs rivalry and both teams take the event extremely seriously and both want to win the game, which should lead to a very competetive game. Knowing Alan and the other coaching staff, each and every player who comes along to the trials/training will be given a fair shot at it.

Definately something to consider being part of guys!!!!!
