The forecast for tomorrow is heavy rain and wind so must be a few games in doubt, how are the pitches looking and what games could be off.

Hats off to the spectators who came down to New Abbey yesterday, especially in those horrendous conditions. Almost made playing in that bearable Posted Image

Yeah. Very good game to watch in terrible conditions. Credit to both teams. Thought vale deserved a point.

Thanks very much, thought we deserved something out the game! just difficult to defend set pieces in winds like that. Credit to Dalbeattie though, got to win scrappy if your going to win titles.

Just like to add my congratulations to both sets of players for putting on a show in such conditions. However to say Abbey Vale deserved a point might be stretching it a wee bit. Have to say you and your defence played a blinder to keep yourselves in it whilst the Star keeper only had one real save to make (although you clipped the woodwork twice). As you say though these are games that must be won if you are to win the league and maybe last season this would have been a game the Star would have dropped points.

Well played Jacko! You pulled off a few great saves! I thought that Clarky played really well with a few key last ditch challenges. We were happy to get in at the break 0-0 having played against the wind even though we created a fair few chances. Games like that where we could drop points and make the difference come the end of the season!

Feck sake Alex, Clarky reads this forum. We'll never hear the end of it now.
