Agreed, Right now the Lisbon Lion stand at Celtic Park has to be the highest percentage chance of getting yourself the jail for basically f**k all.

The difference is, at EEP, the police have endeavoured to take action against all comers, with arrests of this ilk being about even from both home and away ends.

We'll see just how much the coppers are 'endeavouring' when the OF come calling to EEP. I don't recall much endeavour at the last Dunfermline - Rangers game. But then I've no idea what the atmosphere was like that day.

i think i can recall that the police did go into the Rangers end and arrest a few supporters for some chanting.

Would that be the home or away fans you are talking about from that stand. If I'm right (and it's been decades since I've been at Parkhead) but that is where the away support is housed is it not?

This calls for a candlelight vigil. Dunfermline, we are all here for you. Your club is being victimized by these criminals running the police and we will not stand for it. We are all DAFC.

And now we are on song,
For we're the Pars, Dunfermline Athletic,
And we'll go marching on.

Feel sorry for the pars fans, footballs became far too polictally correct and namby pamby now.

...and it's down to the non stop complaining and mock offendedness from a certain green and grey hooped team.

Care to explain it to me as I find it a little confusing that a club who has had a manager and a chairman call for the fans to stop chanting (what is now) illegal content yet it's a selection of a very small away support that is arrested.

Yup. For me that's a bit of banter and certainly nothing malicious. If this is the sort of 'crime' that Fife Police are gonna be clamping down then they are going to be driving a lot of people away from the game.

Perfectly illustrated. None of this is reasonable, based on what I've seen, against a backdrop of blatant negligence on the part of strathclyde police and the SPL.

We are, fellow football fans, beyond the point of common-sense prevailing.

I think Dunfermline are doing a great job at this too.

Well quite.

We certainly don't need the police to give us a helping hand.

I'm sorry but if singing "you're in the wrong fucking country" at a few Celtic fans waving tricolours is worthy of a criminal record then we're about to start wandering down a very dangerous path.
