Home tickets aren't hard to come by. I might miss my beloved spot on the North Stand, but I'm not overly bothered about that.
For the away games, I rather wouldn't build up points by sitting in the worst away section imaginable.
Even then, what games would I really need 5+ points for? The Cyprus friendly?!
I would have a better chance gettting tickets if I didn't go through the supporter's club.
I would love to see some different opinions in this thread, but I honestly don't know what I would pay money again to join this club.

i too am of this opinion.forty quid(which theyll probably raise) for the right to buy tickets i dont anticipate having any problem getting a hold of in any case.i feel the sfa treat the people that turn up with contempt and so f**k em.ill still go to games,im just not going to pay subs for f**k all

Excellent news. I hope many feel the same way. I'll maybe manage to get my kids registered this time around.

I didn't have any problem going to any games when I used to go and I wasn't a member.

I don't think tickets would have been that hard to come by for more or less all the home games in the last campaign, and I see no point in paying the money to renew. I'm still only working part-time right now, so I can do without the expense too.
I would lose control over where I sat, but shit happens.

The video is pretty cringe-worthy, but they really should have had him putting on his Glengarry and then spending the rest of the day casting envious glances at everyone with a bigger feather in theirs

I've never had a membership and managed to get a ticket for all the home games in the last campaign. With the World Champions and the importance of the Czech Republic game in that campaign, I can't see tickets being too much of a problem for the likes of Croatia and Serbia. Not sure about Wales mind you, the away section might be extended for the game against them meaning less tickets for the home end. Still can't see it being much of a problem though.

Same here.
I'm a lazy fucker so get it all out of the way early is what I say. I might go for a differnt part of the stadium for this campaign. That said, you get a cracking view from the South Upper stand it has to be said.

I don't think being an existing member has any relevance to be honest, though I haven't actually asked about it yet.
So far as I know there is a waiting list (there certainly used to be, but it may be clear now for all I know) for membership and you just join it. Doesn't matter whether you have existing family already in or not. You don't get in until you get the top of the list. I'd imagine there will be plenty of space for anyone interested at this point though.
Myself and the wife are both members but the two boys (who will be 3 and 2 in February) are not as yet. To be honest it's far too early for them and I don't see them going for at least another 2 or 3 years, I just worry slightly that if I don't get them signed up now, a surge of interest might mean I can't get them in when they are ready so it might just be easier to do now. I'll think about it.

Non memebers can declare their interest now on the SFA site.
