First Time Poster!
I was given this ball as a gift by my father who was an SFA and SFL delegate at the time and was Vice-Chairman of an SFL club. He bought the ball at a fundraising dinner-auction held by Airdrieonians FC on the evening of the 1st May 1993, the same day as the game, to raise funds for their proposed new stadium at the time.
Rangers won the game 1 - 0 (Gary McSwegan) in front of just over 11,000 people to secure 5-in-a-row!
The ball has 16 signatures on it including Walter Smith, Andy Goram, Gary McSwegan, Ally Maxwell, Davie Dodds, Archie Knox and some I can't decipher! The Rangers squad that day was Ally Maxwell, Dave McPherson, Richard Gough, David Robertson, Ian Ferguson, John Brown, Stuart McCall, Ian Durrant, Peter Huistra, Dale Gordon, Alexei Mikhailichenko, Oleg Kuznetsov, Neil Murray, Gary McSwegan and Mark Hately. The rest of the signatures will be from these players and possibly from other squad members not included that day. For example, Andy Goram wasn't in the squad that day but his is one of the most easily attested signatures on the ball, so Ally McCoist may be there too.
The ball is in good condition and I'd be willing to sell it for a sensible offer with a letter of provenance from my father, the original purchaser. If you have any questions, you can either drop them below or post me a pm.

It's the best I can do.
One of your pals offered to stab me that day. I wasn't needing stabbed so declined his kind celebratory offer.

Aye, but only if there was a letter of provenance provided by his Dad that this ball was cleaned.
