Don't know if this has been posted before or how long it has been opened (first time in Glasgow for a while) but there's a new (to me anyway) shop in Glasgow selling cheap cds, games and dvds. It's based in the old Tower Records building in Argyle Street and has mix and match offers over 2 floors.

2 items for £5
3 items for £5

and 6 items for £5.

Quite a lot of Brit-Pop type stuff in the 6 for £5 offer.

Didn't have a lot of time to look round but there's definitely a few bargains to be had. They also do some newer stuff at higher prices but this only accounts for a small percentage of the stock.

Well worth a look.

Is that under central bridge? Is so it's called Missing and it's fantastic. Although there's a lot of repeat dvds, it's still fantastic value as you said.

And that was not a good start, losing the Doctor at this stage of the game is pretty catastrophic, the Mafia will be creaming themselves after that kill. Particularly when the Doctor is as skilful a player as Forehead is.

No, Missing is the second hand shop run by people unable to find the volume control on their bloody stereo system and assume everyone's as deaf as they are!

The new one is based where the old Tower Records used to be next door to McDonalds. Their prices are cheap to a ludicrous extent and are partly responsible for HMV, etc getting into a panic and slashing their own prices on so much of their stock to next to nothing.

It appears this lot are reselling bankrupt stock from other firms, hence why they're able to do it so cheap, the same think Missing used to do in their glory days of selling first hand stock at the old What Everyone Wants store premises.

Like Mighty Meadow said, well worth a look.

I've been in a couple of times.

Good selection, but there wasn't much in there to catch my eye.
