Yes, I know it's a new thread, but this is so it doesn't get lost in the ASDA deal thread.

It's been all but confirmed over on Hot UK Deals that Tesco will be selling MW3 for £25 when bought with an MS Points Card (2100 points), 12-month subscription to Xbox Live, or £25 PSN card.

Given that the MS Points Card is only £16.99, that's nearly seventeen quid worth of points and MW3 for just under £42. PSN is a bit more expensive due to the card being £25.

I guess you probably won't know, but is that just online or in-store. Is it just on Tuesday as well?

And that was not a good start, losing the Doctor at this stage of the game is pretty catastrophic, the Mafia will be creaming themselves after that kill. Particularly when the Doctor is as skilful a player as Forehead is.

Cards on the table, I don't play online very much (used to with Fifa and very occasionally Red Dead Redemption) and my year subscription has just expired. I've owned MW1 AND MW2 but never played either online, just completed the campaign. Should I be getting XBL to get the best out of the game?

Piffle, MW online is where it's at.

Don't listen to this.

If you buy MW3 then you should be playing online to get the best out of it. The campaign is woefully short and a waste of ~£40 if you not have online.

This Tesco offer gets you 14 months of XBL and MW3 for £61 and I'd say that's definitely worth it. The best part of all Modern Warfare games is the multiplayer.
