Should it not be point? As in one each, singular.

One, or as it transpired, both, were bound to get points. But it's a start!
No doubt if it hadn't been mentioned on 5live, the programme would be accused of ignoring non-league Scottish football.

Pat Nevin mentioned it on Off the Ball. Said something had to give, which I thought was quite a good line.
What was the crowd and how did it compare to Strathspey's usial home attendances?

looked like there were about 100 there which was favourable compared to my last trip to the fort a few years back on the opening day, against wick;that day there were less than 50 in the ground although the next days paper gave the outrageous figure of 150

Sky Sports also mentioned it. Have to say their knowledge of the less well known leagues to your average football punter would have done Bob Crampsey proud, and it's always fun watching Jeff Stelling acting like he's about to have an orgasm because the results have just flashed up that Fort William and Strathspey Thistle have just got their first points of the season, or that Port Talbot had comeback from 2 nil down to snatch a draw with Bala (okay, he's reading it all off the screen, but the way he manages to come across like every result matters does him and the show credit)

The sad thing is that it looks mighty like the wooden spoon will be contested yet again by these two clubs and it is difficult to see where they are likely to get more points from. Why not open it up - What SHFL teams do you see dropping points to either side home or away?

I see Fort William only lost two nil to Falkirk in the youth cup. Given how the Falkirk youth policy has been praised that is some result.
The future for the Fort may be brighter.
