POTTS Cup 1st Round

Newton Stewart v Dalbeattie Star- Should be a cracking match as Newton will be looking to give nothing away at home. Potential draw on the cards

St Cuthbert Wand v Crichton- Saints should continue winning ways and progress into the 2nd round.

Heston v Threave Rovers- Threave should prove too strong but Heston have beaten them before and will be out to do it again.

Creetown v Nithsdale Wanderers- Creetown will be hoping to start picking up some wins but will find it hard against an ever improving Nithsdale side.

2nd Round
Abbey Vale v Wigtown- A match that could go either way, will Vale be able to keep up their recent form and come away with a win? Or will Wigtown go to New Abbey and take no prisoners? Extra time could be on the cards.

SOUTH of SCOTLAND LEAGUE
Stranraer v Mid Annandale- Stranraer at home will be a tough nut to crack but Mids will go there with no intention of a defeat.

Lets hope the winner is not the weather this week. Predictions and your views are always welcome, feel free to post.

Good work Cherry Kitkat.

Wins for Dalbeattie, Threave, Saints, Nithdale, Stranraer.

Vale to grind out a win, carrying a few injuries at the moment though & wigtown seem to be improving on their earlier season form.

Pity the season is in the winter tho, heard that a lot of money has been spent over 2 seasons but still floods when it rains sounds like a waste of money to me.
