I was just reading an article on Yahoo! concerning weird sackings. It gives the case of an American Basketball coach who was sacked when his team won 100-0 because of lack of respect for inferior opposition. It brought to mind a report I read while living in southern France in the late 80s where a regional rugby match finished 240-0. There were special circumstances as the losing team were protesting having one or two players banned and they simply kicked off and stood back while the opposition scored 40 tries (4 points at the time) and 40 convertions.

Has anyone else come across any other extreme scores such as these whether real or contrived?
