Celtic are 5/2 for the league, considering Rangers are a cert to go into admin i was considering sticking £200 on the hoops to win the league.

Is it just me or does this sound good value?

are you not looking at a few things going your way on that punt.

if rangers win their tax case you're fucked

if motherwell put up a challenge you're fucked.

if ginger lennon stays..

Save your money. By the time Christmas comes around they'll probably need snookers as well as Rangers in administration.

If Celtic were a good bet to win the league they wouldn't be 5/2.

Go figure!

You'd be as well putting £20 on the Pars to win the league as we must now be at about 5million to 1. However definitely not worth a punt on who will be relegated as we must now be about 5 million to 1 on.

-How do you know Rangers wont win the tax case please show me something offical from anyone at the Inland revenue or Rangers that says they wont.

-Motherwell could be 6 points ahead of Celtic next Sunday would you put money on that lot to beat them away from home at this minute in time?. Plus Celtic have a European game on Thursday and will no doubt be tired by the time they play Motherwell. Not saying this to be sarcastic or anything but Motherwall must be clear favourites to win that game.

-Celtic have dug themselves into a hole with squeal lennon now. Sack him and they lose face big time after the vigils and the last game of the season against Motherwell. They basically can not sack the man now and would they have the money to do it is the question you have to ask. A new manager comes in and he will ask for at least £10m in funds to buy players do you think anyone will manage that pile of dross without any money to spend they would also have to pay him and the back room team millions in compo Celtic cant afford that.

Celtic are stuck with Lennon the only way he will leave is if he takes another job.

Excellent value. In fact weigh in for £2,000 and not £200.

Unless you are well up to speed on tax law I would not be putting money based on assumptions of the speed a case will go through the courts. By the time the appeals and counter claims have been heard it may be many years before the issue is resolved.
Keep calm, follow on.

Snake, I think you're better keeping your money and putting it on Declan Gallagher to score first, like you do every week ;).

Motherwell currently range from 66's at, shock, Laddies to 200/1 at Skybet.

Even though i dont think 5/2 Celtic is a good price, i certainly wouldnt be taking 1/3 on Rangers. That would be a lay all day long on Betfair for me. They will get shorter before Xmas and trade out would be the call. Too many variables in the equation to have a punt on Celtic i reckon, the 200/1 on Motherwell being more appealing, and will shorten if they avoid defeat next week.

A fair price to be honest. What amazes me is the idiots who think that Rangers could still win the league despite entering administration. What these deluded fools don't seem to grasp is that the points deduction would be the tip or the iceberg. Every sizeable wage earner would require to be removed from said wage structure immediately exactly as happened at Well, Dundee, Livi etc. Rangers would be forced to play out the remainder of the season with their U19 squad and coupled with a points deduction would almost certainly see them finish behind Celtic at least and possibly others.
Or was it Serena ?

if Rangers enter administration before the january window Celtic won't strengthen and will continue their Jekyll and Hyde performences.
