SOUTH of SCOTLAND LEAGUE (ko 2pm)

Creetown v Wigtown- Could be a good scrap from the bottom of the table, Creetown still looking for their first league win this season but Wigtown will be looking to bounce back from their heavy defeat in last weeks Scottish Cup.

Dalbeattie Star v Abbey Vale- Abbey Vale have enjoyed some fine recently but Dalbeattie should be going home with the 3pts here and continue to set the pace at the top.

Fleet Star v Newton Stewart- Fleet struggling for consistency this season with only one league win and with Newton pushing for the 4th champions league place in the league they should prove too strong and leave gatehouse with the 3pts.

Heston Rovers v Stranraer- Two mid table teams who are also challenging for 4th. Heston at home will fight hard for victory but Stranraer won't stand back and admire them them at all, should be an excellent game with plenty of goals.

Mid Annandale v St Cuthbert Wanderers- Tough place to go for any footballing team, so with Saints style of play they should have no problem defeating Mids.

Nithsdale Wanderers v Threave Rovers- Threave should bounce back from their Scottish cup defeat and defeat Nithsdale, but they won't go down without a fight.

Dalbeattie Star website showing their game against Abbey Vale is off. There was major work on the drainage at Islecroft earlier this year so I'd imagine if they can't get their game on, just about everywhere else will be off too.

Edited to add: Seems like Heston v Stranraer is off too.

Looks like the weather was the big winner this weekend.

Credit to Nithsdale for getting their match on and credit to Threave for winning it.

Lets hope the rain stays away this week...

Rain on again not a great forecast. What's the likelyhood of games this weekend ? Anyone at Saints know what the chances are ?
