Need an architect or zamboni operator? Why not see if P&B can help?
List what you do that could be of use to others and / or what service you require in the hope that other Pie and Bovril users can assist with.
Let's see if we can start a mutually beneficial forum thread (green dot for the first person to offer a P&B specific discount).
I'll start us off by listing my letting business:
www.campbellmccormick.co.uk
We deal mainly in letting flats in the Glasgow area, but also offer various other services like drawing up contracts and the like.

The landlords have ultimate say on the rent I'm afraid. I can only suggest the rent they charge ;-)

Wasn't there a P&B A-Z in the past?
Not sure, I couldn't find one and checked with Div, who didn't suggest otherwise.

The A-Z was deleted after it was misused. Some of the 'skills' were also questionable.
Hopefully this thread will be very useful and taken seriously.

I missed that then! I thought it had just sunk down the board. It had been pinned at one point so that it was easy to find, but then because people weren't posting in it, a mod unpinned it, dramatically missing the point of pinning threads so that they can be found even when they're not being posted in regularly.

Quite agree.
I feed fish for a living, so if you need young Nemo nourished by a professional whilst you are on holiday, PM me.
I also kill fish for a living, so if Nemo is becoming a burden on the families finances I can also offer the bopping on the head followed by a knife through the gills service. Again, PM me.

No point having a site on page 50 of google when a few tweaks can perhaps get you on the front page in a few months time.

Just out of interest what would the going rate be for 1 or two bedroom flat to rent in sort of walking distance of Glasgow city centre?

Too vague to say. Lots of areas, good and bad, are within "sort of" walking distance of the city centre and a "one or two bed flat" could be any size, age or style.
