Get your xmas present in early? The medium size on this jacket is £2.99 rather than £125.

Absolutely I was. RRP £125
Anyway, I've just had an email cancelling the order due to a "mis-pricing" on the website.
I've fired off a reply using phrases like "purchased in good faith" and "will not be using your site again if this is how you treat returning customers"
I'll see if I get a reply

Do they not realise you only want to pay a few pennies to the pound?

If the payment went through they can't refund it and are obliged to give you the jacket. That's a consumer rights issue. Best of luck with it.

Aye, ok.
Before you pay
If you take a wrongly-priced item to the till and the assistant spots it, they can refuse to sell it to you for that price. If you order an item on the internet, you don't have a legally-binding contract until the retailer has contacted you to confirm the order. If the wrong price is spotted before the retailer confirms the order, they do not have to sell to you at that price.
After your order has been accepted
If your offer has been accepted (for example, you pay a deposit, or receive a confirmation email), generally you can insist that the retailer sells you the goods for the price they were advertised at.
If the retailer wants to charge you more, you may be able to buy the same item elsewhere and claim against the original trader for the difference in price.
After the transaction is completed
If a retailer sells you something at the wrong price, the transaction is completed and you have your goods, it can't insist that you pay the extra at a later date.

What has that got to do with buying anything online?

I'm sure he didn't get a confirmation e-mail as he hadn't paid for it. I qualified that prior to giving the advice.
I was asked where it said the regulations applied online. I was only pointing out where it showed that the regulations did apply online. I was not relating it to Bobby Skidmark's case.

The best bit about this is that Bobby Skidmarks uses that name when ordering stuff!!
