Why all this fuss about Rangers refusing to give interviews - it didn't seem to bother the Celtic fans last season when Lennon refused to talk to anyone from the press before and after games.

Because we are the big bad Rangers, SC. We shouldn't even be taking BBC payments even though it is our contractural right to have them.

its also your contractural duty to have someone do interviews..so you are failing to fill your part of the contract.

Is it? So you'll have a link to this. As far as i'm aware the club are only obligated to provide commentary facilities to any broadcaster. If they are legally contracted to do so what's the worst that can happen at an interview after a game. They ask a question, answer;yes or no,interview over. Easy isn't it.

Do you have a link to prove that?

I just find it strange why the BBC Scotland would pay money only for commentary purposes, when you consider EPL manager are contracted to give post match interview, even Sir Alex Ferguson

Maybe the SPL and EPL are different organisations with different agreements with Broadcasters.

Lenny declined and other staff gave interviews, but Rangers are making an issue of not talking to the big bad BBC, including threat of sacking anyone who does. I think the whole thing gets more attention because Rangers have publicly stated a policy of ot talking to the BBC, whereas with Lennon last season, he simply allowed others to speak for the team.

I said as far as i'm aware, not that it was definite. I previously asked a poster for a link as he stated clubs were contracted for this. No link was forthcoming. Personally i have never been aware that they are contracted for interviews. However i believe the broadcasting contract is due for renewal shortly so i would be very interested to see who blinks first.

What does an interview consist of. A yes or no answer from McCoist or McDowall, job done, no room for complaint from the BBC. I'm quite sure if they are contracted for interviews Whyte would ensure it is kept to the minimum.

We are far too busy making money out of the Poppy Appeal to be worrying about the BBC.

Think i should get a T-Shirt saying .... I am No8.? :D Why exactly are they protesting? The Beeb are banned and if Whyte is to be believed they wont be getting back anytime soon..I just dont get the point of the protest.

I am actually picking a lad up at the Airport tomorrow to take to Ibrox...Taking him back at Full time..He has offered £30  I hadn't even considered charging him but now he has mentioned a price it would be rude not to :D

Can't understand why they are protesting either. I wouldn't be surprised if "THE KING" is there to make sure Rangers fans aren't selling Poppies though.

1 of the highlights of the week is listening to the hurt in that wee rats voice. He actually thought he had some importance and was liked. He was too thick to realise he was held in such contempt by those at Ibrox.

I much prefer people like Richard Gordon who openly admits his hatred of all things Rangers.
