The poster "Souness Loyal" (you know, I never did get an answer to why a disproportionately large number of Rangers fans have the word 'Loyal' in their username) claims that Craig Whyte and Rangers are going to sue the BBC for their documentary shown earlier this evening:

They did and they will end up in court maybe you missed the thread title.

Now, I for one don't want to miss what will surely be the trial of the century, so maybe we can post in here from time to time with a simple 'yes' or 'no' to answer the thread title?

I'll start:

NO

Yup so obviously you know the connection too.

By the way neither defending the use of 'loyal' or condeming it.

I'm simply saying that someone who asks for an explanation is either thick, patronising or disingenuous.

I can't see how anyone can disagree with that statement.

If Rangers are to take the Beeb to court?

Will they use No.8's taxi?

Yes, I know. I'll actually give you your dues as being the first I've met to admit why rather than indulge in some blatant whataboutery.

Still, let's get this back on topic - is the answer still NO?

Back on topic, Craig Whyte has informed his legal team to initiate legal proceedings against the BBC for allegations of criminality against Whyte. So does that help you.

Then why did you not only ponce about but make a show of poncing about over asking the question?

Everyone knows the answer but why did you have to feign ignorance?

The question was "Have Rangers Taken The BBC To Court Yet?" and the answer is "No". Pretty obvious really. Rangers will not take the BBC to court over tonight's TV programme and have no reason to do so.

White may sue for some variation of defamation but that remains to be seen.

So it's a stupid question.

Considering the programme was only aired to the general public four hours ago then you're quite correct. However it seems a court case awaits for the BBC to answer to. According to their own reports that is.

The answer, so far, is still, "NO".

So is anyone going to give an answer to the "Loyal" question without getting into a rant?

Craig Whyte was made aware of the programme weeks ago, if he really felt the BBC were telling a load of porkies, why didn't he do something about it back then?

The very definition of Irony:

Apparently Rangers and a large proportion of our fanbase seem to think BBC Scotland (or more appropriately BBC North England), the unaplogising propaganda machine for all things pro Union, has it in for Scotland's self proclaimed Union club and all its "F**k the SNP" brigade.

Anyone else find that idea slightly amusing?

The only thing that would make me laugh more would be 15 minutes of "F**k the BBC and the SNP" at our next home match. It would underline just how detached from reality some sections of the Rangers support actually are.

Turns out "no-one likes us, but we actually do care, quite a lot".
