so let me get this right, it appears that noone wants to play for davie and steph?? but they have brought in to many new players? so the players they have signed dont want to play for him? why would they sign for him then? dont quite get that! everyone at the club as far as i am aware have full faith in the management otherwise they wouldnt want to be at the club surely? there was only 3 changes from the spartans game to west calder game hardly a full re shuffle :S west calder on the day were the better team and deserved there win but we were poor and we know this ourselfs its not good enough and the fans do deserve their money back but noone goes out to play badly these things happen and hopefully its the kick up the arse we need to progress, got to understand any team who plays us wont give us time and will make it hard for us as its their cup final espc at home on the bowling green. still plenty of time to get back and track and we have the players do so. its a long hard season and still plenty twists and turns!

Wasnt our cup final, was just the same as any other game we'll play in this league, you only get 3 points!! Think that's a very arrogant thing to post tho shanks7, should have a little more respect for the other teams in this division!
Show me a good loser and i'll show you a loser!

shock ur trying to cause bother by twisting it eh? not arrogant at all am sure the west calder players will admit they were more up for that game than any other this season, infact i know for a fact they were as 2 of my mates were playing! i have more than enough respect for any team we play against as i am usually just watching the game anyway!!

Some of the Fauldhouse players are just not good enough even for this league, simple as. They bought alot of players but very little quality.
I am new to this site but watch alot of junior football in my spare time and still have friends at Harthill, Fauldhouse, Haddington, Spartans and Livingston so try watch them when possible! My mate at Harthill has mentioned how much they are improving and thinks they could be dark horses for the title, watch this space........

People are always going to talk from the side of the park tonymontana, as shanks said, I don't think any1 that's playing just now doesn't believe in Davie and steph, I certainly do, and they put out a team strong enough to beat west Calder at home, as I've said before, no disrespect to west Calder as they desreved the win, and were the better team on the day, long long way to go, there will be plenty more slip ups, bit we need to get our finger out fast!!!

Lets start from Saturday then lads - we have a good squad but sometimes i do not understand the need to change the team every week....be a great idea if we win on Saturday then play the same team the following week!

It's not only changes in personnel, it is also the changes to the squad positions. JP moved position, Sam moved, JD moved, plus the changes in personnel. That ain't a settled side to me.

still only 3 changes? so i was watching the right game? jp is a right back or a right midfielder so thats not to much of a change, sam can play both centre back or centre mid so again no issue and jas has played in more than one postion and done a job :S so dont see ur point here? its not like we had wilkie and kenny playing centre half and gall and coops up top? these people please these postions and was only 3 changes from the week before. no point making excuses we were beat by the better team on the day just need to make sure we learn from this and bounce back

from what i have been hearing fauldhouse have very slim chances of doing anything this year, as stated above by one of ur own fans there are a few new faces that are not good enough. it would seem another result like this was coming, scraped a win against dunbar with a sub coming on and scoring with a cross and then went to spartans and seemed to get a good result although some may argue wasnt a fair reflection of the game. only time will tell if fauldhouse have what it takes but from what i have heard/seen they wont be near winning this league

A change means something different from the week before, and there was more than 3 whether it be personnel or positions!! Beaten by the hungrier team I agree!!

As the boy in the advert says " calm down, calm down " after eight games last season in the South Division we had 15 pts and had been gubbed by Sauchie 4-2 at home, Spartans 5-1 at home, and Stoneyburn 3-2 at home...won 5, lost 3.... this year we have 11pts at the same stage after eight games, won 3, drawn 2 and lost 3 and although some teams have games in hand we are only 3pts of the top of the league ...last year we made a fist of it right up to the last couple of weeks missing out to a good Sauchie team so i am confident we will be up there at the end of the season again. Between getting our fair share of injuries recently and some new faces coming in these past few weeks Davey and Steph have yet to find a settled side , i dont know about anyone else but i dont see any major problems other than getting the squad to gel together, which is all about good management as much as tactics ...and we have that.

panic buys i think........if i remember correctly fauldhouse fans thought they were certain to win the league during the diddy cup at the start of season

as i said previous...no panic, three points off top of the league is not a crisis in any way !...and i dont recollect supporters of Fauldhouse coming on to say we are certainties for the South Division, bookies made us favourites we cant do anything about that, got to live with it, there are too many good sides in this league for any team to say they will win it , i dont think we will be far away as i said but i am sure half a dozen other teams will think the same.

Tranent by all accounts got a lucky 3 points yesterday at Harthill to go top, with the hosts missing 2 penalties and Tranent scoring a winner deep into stoppage time. Was surprised to hear the game was on, given the postponements in the area. Anyone there able to comment?

Well going by what you have mentioned above it was a lucky 3 points. However the game should have been over after an astonishing amount of missed chances by Tranent. Its a mystery how Harthill went in at half time leading, Buts football is all about taking your chances. It was a much more even affair after Tranent took a 2-1 lead. Overall Harthill will feel hard done by but in all honesty Tranent were worthy of the win and move to the top of the league.

Got to agree no idea how we went in ahead at half time, but as you say the second half was a lot more even and think we deserved at least a point.
First of the 2 pens was never a pen, but second one was a stonewaller. The goal we lost in injury time was a shocker!
Seen a few better teams than tranent, but they keep grinding out results. Was really hard to take yesterday, but think we will take points off other teams going forward.

Spartans seem to do better in the league when they are not actually playing ....going through a poor patch at the minute.. .it wasn't much of a game on Saturday

Yeah was going on the basis of hearing those details, however those are the type of games where you need to pick up the 3 points in order to challenge at the top end so a few more of those would be welcome for you no doubt!!

Don't know if he was there on Saturday as I'm not sure what he looks like, but whoever it was taking the team gave them a right good rollocking both at half time and at full time, by the sounds of things from the home dressing room!
