To be honest east lothian isn't much better, I am grasping at straws that Tranent might be on.

Tranent's pitch normally holds up
well so unless there is a massive downpour or a dump of snow I think the game should be on.

Dalkieth v Blackburn will be game of the day in the South, but the outcome of Whitburn v Dunbar will have an impact on both sides' challenge.

Any guestimates for the number of points needed to win the league? From memory the lowest total was 55 (from 26 games) when Armadale bounced straight back up. This season seems a much tighter contest

I will guess 58. If a team can maintain an average of just over 2pts a game in such a tight league then they will be deserved winners!!

It has been a lot milder through here with a bit of rain, so has a chance of being on.

One of the commitee guys was on the park yesterday afternoon though and was still frozen. Will let you know if I hear anything else tonight.

It's no bad weather through here just now if it was to be played today I would think it would be on just need to hope there's no frost or heavy showers over night

Harthill pitch was checked 30 Mins ago and looks like it will be clear of frost. Only problem now is surface water which isn't draining away too quickly, will be a case of waiting till tomorrow.

Any other pitch updates? Dalkieth, Edinburgh Falkirk and Livi? I'd assume most South League games will be on this weekend with the miggest probably being Dalkeith v Blackburn. Very interesting to see which way that goes. I'd go for a draw. Fancy Haddington, Spartans and Falkirk to all win comfortably.

Waiting on phone call to confirm all ok with our pitch - expect it to be fine but have a pitch inspection booked in if needed.

Wouldn't be surprised if Edinburgh game is off.

Without doubt Blackburn v Dalkeith is the game of the week in this league. Backed Blackburn to win the league at the start of the season and fancy them for a win tomorrow.

Hopefully it's game on for us. Obviously people are going to back Spartans but fancy our chances too :)
