Good result in the end although the first 25 mins was brutal to watch and we lost an early goals AGAIN. How many is that now?

We got there in the end right enough and put on a decent display after we got going. Especially with such a depleted team

5 points from 4 games isn't disasterous...especially when we probably should've beat Rennes and Udinese. Ho-hum.

I'm not sure where the Celtic supporters are getting this 'great performance' from. You were absolutely shocking in the first half and would have been lucky to go in level at half time never mind ahead. From where we were sitting the shot that resulted in the first goal was going wide before the keeper had a brainstorm. The second goal was shocking defending too.

Probably shaded the second half, Samaras was excellent but it must be frustrating watching him play shite every week when he's obviously got something in there.

ETA : I've seen a european club match now, that's something else ticked off 8)

It must be European night, Celtic have dug out Samaras again. Don't they ever learn, he's the only Greek in Europe who's not subject to austerity measures. He looks miserable all the time but he's really jumping for joy inside trousering stacks of cash for very little effort.

Samaras was my man of the match, 2 assists and an excellenty defenssive shift. he has this knack which Mcgeady had in eruope for Celtic, of picking the ball up and travelling with it, relieveing pressure on the Celtic defence. liek McGeady, it often ends in nothing but still, "defenssive dribbling" and all that.

Any hoo, not a great performance but can't argue with the result. If Celtic had actually managed to beat Sion in the first palce we may have had a crack at the knockouts.
I [agree/disagree] with your assessment because you [praised/insulted] a [team/person] that I [support/loathe]. Furthermore, I [admire/ridicule] your writing based on the previous statement, and not on the merit of what was actually written.

[Insert final attempt to be witty here]

If we're playing the 'what if?' game, we'd be in a great position if not for that penalty at the end of the Udinese game. In any event, I don't think qualification is really beyond the realms of possibility, especially since Udinese don't seem too interested. I was going to say we don't really need more European football this season ourselves, but in actual fact, we might as well go for it!

Would agree not a great overall performance - but I liked to see a bit of aggression and commitment for once after being dealt an early blow.

Not a great performance but a gutsy one and at this moment in time exactly the sort of performance we need
