I'd like to wish Udinese good luck against celtic.

Now this isn't anti-Catholic or anti-Irish bigotry, just a deep seated hatred of celtic.

Obviously the facty my Madrid born granny lived many of her days in Udinese and considered herself part Itallian helps me justify this, but even if she were 100% Scottish, I'd still want Udinese to win.

They looked very decent against Arsenal. Arguably unlucky to go out. I think it might be 4 or 5. Insh'allah.

Definitely a draw. After all, a few of the Celtic fans on here did say that Udinese wouldn't be as tough as Atletico. They ken their stuff.

If Udinese play at their best Celtic will take an absolute hiding off them.

As has already been said, Udinese won't need luck. They're much better than Celtic and will dismantle them with ease.

Bit, in case any of the Udinese players are reading this, good luck lads.

A turd of such epic proportions it has to be released in three installments. The first can stand on its own as a complete adventure. The second links to the first, but has a dark, inconclusive feel generating an air of foreboding and leaving itself wide open for an unknown ending. The final chapter has drama, excitement and moments where you think all is lost. A grand battle is waged where good overcomes evil and peace is restored in your gut.

Udinese should win this. Celtic are not great, but if they are really up for it then they might take a draw. Unlikely but I think it's the best they can hope for....

How you lot can possibly sit there and say celtic are dead certs for defeat at parkhead in any game is beyond comprehension.

What is it this year anyway? A lot of shite threads shouting about wanting celtic pumped in europe... Last year there seemed to be a fair bit of euphoria on this section... Just sayin.

It's getting kind of hard to believe things are going to get better. I've been drowning too long to believe that the tide is going to turn. And I've been living too hard to believe things are going to get easier now. I'm still trying to shake off the pain from the lessons I've learned. And if I see Van Helsing, I swear to the lord I will slay him. AHA HA HA. He take you from me but I swear I won't let it be so. AHA HA HA. Blood, will run done his face, when he is decapitated AH! His head on my mantle is how I will let this world know...how much I love you.

Well, Celtic are shite and Udinese aren't, for one thing.

Celtic are managed by Neil Lennon, and Udinese aren't - advantage number two.

Glen Loovens. Advantage number three.

I could go on.

Having seen Celtic twice this season including being at an actual game (which, by the way, is probably more times than you've seen them) I can hand on heart say that any team with a bit of pace and a forward who has good movement will have a field day against Celtic's defence. Udinese will run riot against the Celtic back five.

I've been thinking of reasons to justify supporting Udinese tonight against Celtic to my friends of the green side of the divide. I'm going out with an Italian lassie tonight but she's from Milan and doesn't like football. So after struggling to come up with any other connection between myself and that part of Northern Italy I've came to the conclusion it's just because seeing Celtic get humped is fun.

There's a chance for a joke about spending more time in an Italian's box tonight than Gary Hooper will but, the sad truth is, neither of us are likely to manage it :(

You've got as much chance of success in the Italian box as Gary Hooper?

What's a football equivalent of heading home alone and having a w**k? Aberdeen?
