and what plans that ?

Personal reasons.

2 teams we played against at start of year playing each other - go watch it see how they get on.

The famous Drumchapel Utd v Aikenhead Thistle where my mate Gunner plays his football.

Last game speaks for itself - would be tie of the round, imo of course.

Just noticed 3 game rule DOES apply, check the 2nd game down in the link.

The three game switch definitely applies. This still needs looked at though. Erskine called off our 3rd round game for three weeks in a row-despite our park being in good condition to play. Erskine had managed to stage only one league game all season. Now on the morning of the fourth week...SNOW and another Christmas shopping weekend haha.

Clubs don't ant to relinquish home advantage!
We've had games off for 3/4 weeks across both Scottish and west... All the while we have a 3G home park at our disposal - offered the park every time theirs is off, and will the other teams swap in the interest of getting games played? Nope.
I can understand their decision to a degree, protecting their own team, any advantage to help progression... But 99% of players don't care where they play I say and just want games on!

EBC 0 - 3 Aikenhead
Comfy, hit the bar and missed a penalty ontop of that.

A very tough game awaits! They're the teams you want to be facing though...

Need to beat them if u want to win it. You fancy your chances?

There's a few good ties, potential local derby with Campsie Minerva v Waterside a possible tie

We gave them a good game last season in the semi of the west.. And we know on our day we can match anyone. I reckon we are definitely underdogs but that might suit us. Drum are already out of west this year so they'll be wanting to make sure they're not out another major.
There are a couple of potential good ties yeah...

They have a great record in the majors over the last few years so they will always be there or thereabouts. Like you say, being out the west will make them more determined to win Scottish. Plus they have lost the final the last 2 years so they will want to make up for that.

But I'm sure you don't need me to tell you how difficult it will be.

Nah, im all too aware of what they're all about. But I'd like to think that they won't have wanted to play us either! Looking for it... And needless to say we want to get as far in the cup as we can too. 7th of January is the date, of course, weather permitting!

The bent 3G in Hamilton. Was a decent game, no bad tackles, 0-0 at half time, not for lack of chances though. IMO their keeper was a stand out for them, our keeper had 1 save to make. 3-0 , as I said earlier coulda been 6/7 had we took the 1 on 1s, scored a penalty and hit the other side of the post.

Cheers mate. I had thought that the fixture was on at another 3G (Jock Stein) , so when I turned up and there was no sign of EBC, I assumed the game was off !

Anyway, all the best in the next round.

Good luck Dougie.

They lost a few bodies to the juniors, notibly their left back Andy Paterson. Big loss, one of best amateur players ive seen. But of course, no doubt they bring someone in whos just as strong. All the best matey.
