Managed to put this together from the sale of an Aguero (got in a pack) for 85k. Still got 40k left over but I'm not quite ready to spunk it all on Schweinsteiger and unfortunatrely Ozil doesn't really fit in my formation.

Never been so distraught at a game in my life.

Made a Colombia team (dunno why) rated 4 stars at 80-73-74, got matched up against someone with a team rated 65-82-75 so I went for it. Shock horror, it's a mostly EPL side - Neuer, Richards, Huth, Evra, Yaya Toure, Cleverly, Valencia, Aguero and 3 bronze players in the team. Kick off, pauses the game, subs on Tevez, Bale and Vidic.

He scored an 88th minute header with Tevez to win 1-0.

I fucking wish you could quit games inside 5 mins and it didn't count as a loss for complete fucking window licking c***s like this mouthbreather. I wish I knew where this c**t lived. I would actually stab him. And he has a complete cuntish gamertag as well.

Went on this for the first timer in a couple of months last night. Seems everyone is going very cheap atm, can't complain. As a result of not playing for ages my team is tsill fairly average, but it looks like this:

The market crashes after the TOTY is released in January, so non-IF prices are pretty cheap from now on and will hit rock bottom when the end of season TOTY's come out.

I was thinking about going for the club value acheivement, i.e over 100,000,000. It seems quite an undertaking but looking at the leaderboard on XBL and the top guy is over 900 million for club value

Surely there is a point when you have no more cards to get as you will be duplicated to f**k. Anyone close or past the 100 million for club value? I'm at 7 million btw, with my serie A gold and MLS and Korean bronze squads.

It's 85 million. You need a massive balance to get it, I bought around 600 players in the end before I got the achievement. Here's the best guide on how to do it if you have the coins...

Gold Method

Set the search up to BIN @ 650/700 then buy all the gold shinys. If you're unsure on who you've already bought then just buy them anyway and discard if necessary as you only lose about 1-100 coins max as were buying @ no more than 700ea.
Another way to do this is search for 'Gold players' who's current bid is 650 or less. I found a ton of gold shinys this way and ensured they were mine buy putting a 700 bid on them.

Each shiny gold has an approximate value of 240k~ when stored in the club.

Buying shiny golds @ 650:

240k (Value of card in club) x 355 (Amount of cards we need) = £85,200,000.
Therefore, 355 (Cards) x 650 (The price we buy them at) = ~£231k(Coins needed)

Buying shiny golds @ 700: 355 x 700 = ~249k (Coins needed)

Therefore, you need between 230k-250k to start this method.


Projected losses on Gold Cards

Once you have the achievement you need to make some money back..Discarding an 80+ rated gold shiny player usually gives you 648 coins, so if you can purchase these for 650 (Which you can) then you are only losing 2 coins per card. If you are getting gold shinys rated 75-80 you get an average of around 620 coins when discarded (600 for 75's, 640 for 80's), which is an average loss of about 30 coins per card.

355 (Amount of cards we need) x 30 (Our average loss per card) = Projected total loss of 10,650 coins using this method.

I done it with a mix of normal and shiny golds though, for normal golds, you just follow the same process but buy them at 350/400 coins. You can also do it with Silver and Bronzes, but doing it with Gold's is the best way to ensure your losses are as low as possible.

That seems one hell of an undertaking! Not sure if I'll manage it, I'll just keep building some squads and try to make coins and see where it gets me.

It happens so much that a lot of people believe there is a handicap in UT that helps narrow the gap when there's a large difference between the OVR of the 2 sides. There is tonnes and tonnes of evidence and experiments on the forums to back it up and there are literally thousands of threads discussing it. I've noticed it myself as I am absolutely woeful when using a fully gold team with an 82 OVR or more and barely ever get past the first round of the advanced cup, but I have won the advanced cup 20+ times with my mostly silver team that includes only 2 golds.

You need to buy hundreds of Bronze packs. I think I have 1700+ people etc in my club.

Schweinsteiger and/or Ozil in CM would help no end. Podolski and Gomez up top dont cost that much either and both are demons if you can get crosses into the box.

Schweinsteiger is a beast anywhere within 30 yards as well.

I'd also recommend Marco Reus at RM instead of Sam. Sam is a little quicker but Reus is better in every other aspect IMO.

Ive been using my Belgian League Team which consists of pace throughout the team. All of my team are Silvers but I have won the Advanced cup at least 5 times with them. Just made a championship team which is pretty good but not as quick as im used to. Played a guy the other night who had a Serie B team that was pretty quick. Anyone reccomend a decent league to do, doen all the usuals maybe a Polish or Swiss league team

I have a Korean Bronze team playing 4-3-3 which is absolute beast. Most players can be bought for 200 BIN as well. If it's pace you're looking for, I'd recommend a Silver Mexican League team. I kind of cheated and put a gold Chucho Benitez up front because he is just too good.

I've been dealing in 90+ pace RW and LW's. Specifically Joao Rojas who has 91 pace and 4 star skill moves. buying for around £1k and selling for £3.5k. sold a couple of Eden Hazard's and some Cameroonian too. Looking to build up a 4-3-2-1 EPL side, got Mata and Gervinho so far.

I have a bronze Korean team playing 4-4-1-1, it's OK, but not that great. I may have to change it around as I have came up against a few very decent Korean teams, or I scrap the Korean team and make a Polish one.

My favourite bronze team is my MLS team which I have playing 3-5-2, Kandji up front is an absolute beast!

Two things that are really annoying me about ultimate team right now, the first is injuries in my smaller squads, it's so frustrating to make a new squad play a game and you get two injuries so can't play with it. The second thing is that my trade pile is too small, I understand why there is a limit, but I wanna make coinage now!

I get a lot of injuries as well. At least 1 every other game. It's very frustrating.

I've already tried a Mexican silver team but just didn't like the feel of it, ended up doing a Norwegian League team. It's pretty good but lacks any pace at centre half. I would highly recommend the belgian league team. I've had it now for 3 months and probably only been beat in 10% of the matches I've played with it. 4-3-3 with soumahoro, tchite and Dirar up top is unstoppable and the defence is ballistically quick.
