In our debut season at the top level, an almost unsurpassable string of successes, thanks to some good luck with injuries at the back, and the creation of a fruitful Sheridan/Da Valle partnership up top that could last for many years to come. Defeat in the League Cup Final to Rangers (the only team I failed to beat over the season) was more than accounted for in the end:

Just got through to July '13: seems I may have set the bar too high. The board now expect European qualification again, with just a tiny improvement in the budget. Signed Steven Caldwell to strengthen the centre half position, cleared out some of the older heads, and waiting on free agents to drop their ludicrously high wage demands.

Boilesen has been sold to Blackburn for £750k and a 25% sell-on, which given he wasn't really fitting into my tactical setup, is a pleasing piece of business. There's a few Hungarian regens who have a similar level of potential that I'd look to snap up with the £200,000 I have to spend from the transfer.

The club is now £1 million in the black over the summer and that's before we enter Europe and have a full season of proper gate reciepts, so if I scrape through this season then future budgets should be more generous.

i deleted the files and downloaded them again, same problem, no idea why if its only doing it for me, haha

All three have happened in my last three seasons, but went Hibs, St Mirren then Hearts currently in 2017

It's infuriating. Mainly as you stay amateur no matter what, and your best players get cherry picked all the time. You can easily have an SPL standard squad then lose them all in a month

Anyway i just signed Alberto Aquilani as back up for my St Johnstone squad, will alternate between him and Joe McKee as to who gets drafted in. Never ever ever thought anyone would have to decide between the two McKee's helped by his 20 rating for Free Kick taking

A few things; 1) My average age is unbelievably low, only a handful of players over 21 years old. 2) My squad is, by and large, physically massive and 3) It's like the foreign fucking legion, but tbh there aren't many good Scottish players cutting about that are better than that lot so feck it.

You must have put all the bonuses to low? You can usually get away with putting the cup ones to low, I always just leave the league bonus as normal as its not worth upsetting a few players and not worth the cost of exciting a few by going high either. Plus there are ways to raise money to pay for stuff like that...
