Fact of the day. Kilsyth is assumed to have the first ever curling club in the world which still stands today and also the worlds oldest purpose built curling pond.

I dont partake in the sport myself although I do occasionally consume alcohol in a pub called the Curling StonePosted Image

Just wondered how many there are on P&B.
Maybe enter a P&B team at Stranraer next year!
To Sir Kevin. Interesting fact about Kilsyth.

Still play very occasionally. Entered a competition this year at Braehead which should be interesting, considering I've not played since before Christmas last year!

Some of my buddies at Somerset regularly arrive late or leave early due to playing at Ayr.

Taken this up very recently.

Open day a few months back at Ayr Ice Rink, where anyone can have a go.
Opted for a few lessons afterwards and then joined the beginners club (called Disnae).
All of this was to appease friends who were wanting me to take it up so I could join their club - Dalmellington.

The money involved seems to have jumped all of a sudden, but I am enjoying it.
Mother played by Peter Beardsley, Father by John Cleese.
