Anywhere that sells games? Is this a trick question?
Any opinions are not necessarily my own but those of the BBC.

Cheapest place is ebay. Make sure you choose a reputable seller though.

Feck me, yet another thread dedicated to xbl.

He truly is box office.

Try shopto.net

They certainly used to send it in an email, I assume they still do.

You can now turn off Auto Renew online - xbox.com and go to "My Account", so no need to worry about M$ having your card details.

Try this, it's 2 months XBL for just £2. It expires in 24hrs i believe, so be quick:

http://www.hotukdeal...er-only/1003732

I picked up one of these deals before, and got 6 months for £6. People on Hot UK Deals were then posting that when they phone Microsoft to cancel the auto renew, they were offered 12months for £24. Might be worth a try?

Watch out as there are a few scam sites out there, but the following 2 are genuine and I've used them plenty of times with no hassle...

Gamepointsnow

Electronic First

I tend to use Electronic first and always buy the 2100 points for £16.50 package which is cheaper & better value than the 2000 points for £17.00 through Microsoft.

Got 12 months Xbox live for £12 after a glitch on the MS system before calling to cancel and remove my Paypal details from their account details. Amazed they hadn't closed that loophole as apparently it's cropped up a few times.

12 months XBL for £22.95 @ John Lewis

It seems to be a clearance item, so I imagine it will disappear pretty quickly
