There you go http://soccernet.esp...+FC+Sion+appeal

Now - will FC Sion head for the Court of Arbitration for Sport or attempt to drag UEFA through the courts of Switzerland ? Either way it just shows that its not just the SPL, FA, SFA et all that seem to think they have no obligations to the fans who make football what it is...
Another season under the belt... going to be a long summer....

I think Edinburgh Sheriff Court would be their best bet

I like the idea of being back in european competition but i'm shitting myself at the prospect of a thrashing in Madrid before we go to Govan.:(. Don't think the gulf in class is quite Spurs - Hearts , not far off it though if Athletico are up for this.

Important to go into the game with a spirit of nothing to lose, since we're only in the group stages by default. I can't see expectations being anything but low with this game anyway, so if we lose 4-0, it will not be a surprise. Indeed, just putting up a respectable showing in Madrid will be a bonus at present.

So, the only real impacts on Sunday's game will be fatigue or injuries, although at this stage of the season, no real excuses on either front.

The way I see it, playing better sides is only good for a team's development, even if it means taking a thrashing or three. Plenty of historic examples.

The future Lisbon Lions took some heavy beatings from Rangers in the early 1960's.

Aberdeen played Liverpool in the EC in 1980 and absolutely hammered. Less than 3 years later they were beating Real Madrid.

Even Man Utd had to endure some humliations in Europe in the 1990's before they finally won the CL in 1999.

As a Rennes fan I would fucking love to go see them play the Hoops.

Stade Rennais has one of the best youth academys in the world and would probably pump the living shit out of this poor Celtic side.

It'd still be a great day out though!

How is that working for you?
