How do we see this going??
Watched the first leg and though Rangers threw away the result by changing thier formation. Maribor will be looking to hit on the break but i was suprised how easy Rangers had it especially in the first half.
If Rangers play anything near the form they showed on Sunday then they will hammer Maribor.
3-0 Rangers
Rangers vs Maribor

think if laffable is fitter, and that diving wee moany faced pluke stays on his feet, rangers should be in the group stages by halftime.
the only county i'd follow is NAIRN
.

Rangers are far superior to this mob and i am going for a 4-0 romp. Then again we were far superior to Malmo and managed to f**k that up
The performance on Sunday set a standard we should not be allowed to fall below. Rangers had 11 first team players missing on Sunday so hopefully after a faltering start to the season we can go on from here to continue our domination of Scottish football and look forward to European football into the new year.
Hopefully we get a crowd of around 40,000 for this crucial fixture. I just don't understand the complaints about the pricing as it is similar to a meaningless friendly which was almost sold out.

I see that Maribor have lodged a complaint to UEFA over Bocanegra's eligibility for the first leg. Was it definitely all kosher?

. They really are getting desperate and i fear after losing out on Thursday and dropping points at NSMP things will get ugly.
Couple of rules that cast doubts over it, 1stly from Uefa:
http://www.uefa.com/...60_DOWNLOAD.pdf
18.14 For the three qualifying rounds and the play-offs, a club may register a maximum of one new eligible player on List A after the above-mentioned deadlines, provided the quota of locally trained players is respected. Such registration must be completed by 24.00 CET on the day before the relevant first-leg match and the club’s association must confirm in writing that the new player is eligible to play at domestic level at this time.
Now I believe Rangers are saying he was registered and therefore eligible to play domestically it's just that he hadn't yet received his Visa so couldn't get in the country. However how could he be registered with this rule?...
http://www.scotprem....%28CLEAN%29.pdf P42 SECTION D PLAYERS REGISTRATION AND ELIGIBILITY
D1.17 A Player shall not be Registered where there is any restriction or condition, howsoever arising, as to when, against whom or on what terms the Player concerned shall or shall not Play.
Genuine questions btw, I won't pretend to have a clue about this kind of thing. I've just picked up on it from other sites.

Your shite team of characterless nonentities got humped at the weekend; has their Yoofa jaicket hanging on a very shoogly Swiss nail and face a tricky fixture in Paisley on Sunday. Does that bother you? Nope - not one bit as long as you can scour the internet looking for things to be offended by.
Were you one of the ones who emailed the Slovenian Embassy?
The amusing thing about this is that if UEFA deem Bocanegra to have been eligible then you and your paranoid cohorts can add them to your list of organisations out to get you.
As for the game itself I fully expect us to win by at least 3 clear goals.

that rule sounds like it is referring to clubs banning players on loan from playing in certain games.
i don't see any problem here. there seems to be processes set up that when a team goes to a country to play in a uefa or fifa competiton any player who requires it automatically gets a visa to work and they are all exempt from taxation.
i also dont see the link between the ability to register a player and a work permit. it's two seperate things. arsenal had carlos vela registered for 3 years before he got a work permit.

Apparently the SFA have backed Rangers' view of events, although I don't know if they have done it in writing yet.
As for the second rule, it seems fairly vague and 'all covering', in a 'breach of the peace' style. I'd imagine that it's application will be fairly loose and unlikely to be applied here with the SFA's backing.

Although Rangers lost the 1st leg they do have that away goal, but I reckon they will probably win convincingly anyway. I go for 3-0 Rangers.

All seem very confident.
I see it being 1-0 Rangers.
Sets it up for a very exciting/nervous last few minutes.

If Rangers don't go through then it's one of the worst results from a Scottish side in a long, long time.
