Amazingly the Hearts fans clapped the team off tonight despite their worst performance ever. The problems at the club are very obvious from the outside, a Owner that doesn't care in the slightest about the team. He only cares about having the power over people.

Now we have seen that the latest dumpling unvailed by the owner looks like the most clueless manager ever surely its time to act before things get worst.

I've seen Vogts at Scotland, Mowbray at Celtic etc but this idiot is clearly the worst ever. To actually play 2 wingers and number 10 and a lump against a side better than you is laughable. ANY manager with any ability wouldn't have done this.

THEN playing Hamill against Bale and Grainger v Lennon, and by playing the players I listed above not doubling up on their threat.

THEN not bothering looking after VAn der vaart.

I have honestly never seen a managerial performance even close to the what happened tonight.

Hand on heart honestly does anyone think hearts would have been beat by 3/4/5 if JJ was in charge? Not a one in a thousand chance.

IF you are a hearts fan and still believe in this mug that is killing hearts you are a fool? Do you still believe him that you will win the Champions League?

Vlad out now

With respect, you got absolutely slaughtered, and registered the worst home defeat in the history of Scottish clubs in Europe.

It's easy to see why posters are bemused/perturbed.

You're right that any Hearts fan who actually still believes in Vlad is in deep denial or just a bit stupid.

But do you really believe the bolded part? Every team in Scotland, included Celtic and Rangers would take an absolute porking off Spurs. I didn't see the game so can't comment on the tactical details you've mentioned. But I shudder to think what a team including 100k p/week players like Bale and V. der Vaart would do Hibs or any other SPL side.

Your sentiment is correct but I don't think tonight proves it.

Okay then, Jose. What would your tactics have been with the players available?

No this isn't true.

Spurs are a decent team nothing more, Van der Vaart is a good player, good enough to reach the Real Madrid squad the rest are solid player nothing really more.

I was most impressed by the right back Walker who was excellent and will provide great back up to hutton who thank the lord was missing.

Rangers and Celtic would both be favourites to beat Spurs at home and rightly so.

Anyway back on track.

I think this is the most innaccurate thing I have read since signing up to this site. Are you fucking mental?

I was going to use examples to prop up my disagreement but actually none are needed. Celtic and Rangers would get beasted by Spurs, no questions.

Would it help you if I said.

1) I wouldn't have player slow full backs against their lightening fast wingers

2) I wouldn't have played 2 wingers, a number 10 and a number 9 against a superior team(must me the first time in years this has happened)

3) I wouldn't have asked every player to press to ball. Headcase forwards chasing lost causes and therefore creatign space in midfield.

4) Would have had a player between the defence and midfield since their best player plays there.

Look at hte team JJ played against Rangers and then the team thsi idiot played tonight.

Sergio will be gone by november.

And where will Hearts get these "lightening fast" (sic) fullbacks and wide players from?

OK

Right back Ryan McGowan- Quicker than Bale would have nulified him as he only goes down the line

Craig Thomson- Really quick over 10 yards, great last ditch player

Walter smith would have quite rightly have played 5 at the back and Bale, and lennon would have been worthless. With the stopper looking after Van Der Vaart.

Why post this?

Because a certain mod ignored the rules of the website while under the influence of carlsberg. Hardly my fault!

Is McGowan not a Defensive Midfielder? Craig Thomson does not play for Hearts.

Is it?

Been saying it for a while HibeeJibee that the rest of European clubs are leaving our own behind or catching up.

Dundee United out early to what everyone thought an 'easy draw'. Rangers lost yet again tonight against what everyone thought was an 'easy draw'. There's been much talk about 'English arrogance' in the lead-up to tonight's match at Tynecastle, but maybe it's time we looked in the mirror.

If Hearts fans seemed litte bemused by events, perhaps its because as ones whose fans are overused to kicks in the teeth they've learned a little phlegmatism when it comes to football. Spurs were a class apart - end of argument.

The really worrying part in the first half - where the fans would have been justified in crying "rape!" it was so shockingly bad - was that the club whose players haven't played in three weeks were clearly a hell of a lot fitter than the club that's well into a new season.

True, in the second half Hearts made a go of it - and you couldn't help but feel sorry for Templeton who as ever never gave up - but that it took them so long to get off the blocks in comparison to Spurs in the first place is another wake up call for Scottish football as a whole that they can't continue kidding themselves that what passes for fitness, basic ball skills, tactical astuteness is adequate.

We've been too complacent for too long, and maybe getting thumped by one of the Auld Enemy based in an area that was in chaos last week is the wake up call it needs to make them realise that it's no longer good enough to dine out on past glories and praying the Old Firm have a good enough run to keep our co-efficient up.

Over in Dublin, Shamrock Rovers held Partizen Belgrade tonight, something you'd have put your house on being a slaughter a few years back. If the Irish manage to get as many clubs into the Europa League this year as Scotland does - ie. one! - will people still continue to kid themselves that all is still well with the quality of our club sides in comparison to the rest of Europe?

Just a thought!

This thread is shit, you're spouting pish like McGowan could have had Bale in his pocket, still sticking up for that horrid we shitebag Thompson and insisting an oaf like JJ would have made a difference tonight.
