Fcuking St Mirren v Hammarby by a country fcuking mile.
St Mirren • Johnstone Burgh • Newcastle United • Denver Broncos • Manly Sea Eagles.... 'til I die.

There's only one Kyle Orton, Tim Tebow, Peyton Manning.

Probably your own team not having the quality to qualify to have a chance of being embarrssed by a top EPL side. No?

Quite pleased with 'Well's European record, a blip at Airdrie against Llanelli but came back well in the away leg.

Otherwise never humiliated ourselves like some.

Ours isn't too bad. Our biggest defeat was 5-1, but that was in the Bernabeu against Puskas, Di Stefano et al. We drew the home leg 2-2.

Gretna 1-5 Derry, technically a home match but it was played at Fir Park.
They tell me it's a minority, but I've been there, I know better.

Depends what you call embarrassing - we've had some of the big aggregate deficits (add Eintracht 12-4 Rangers, Chelsea 9-3 Morton, Real Madrid 7-0 Rangers) but it can be defeats to minnows like Skonto/Bohemians/Artmedia/Kaunas/MyPa/Hafnafjordur too.

Us losing heavily at Stanford Bridge isn't really an embarrassment, IMO at least.

I find that it tends to be the biggest clubs in Scotland who embarrass themselves more and regularly, particularly Rangers and Celtic (that Swiss mob in the 90s, Artmedia, Maribor, Malmo, Viktoria Zizkov, Kaunas, Braga, Utrecht, Unirea, Celtic's entire Europa League group stage, by all means continue the list).

Victoria Zizkov knocked Rangers out, that was bad. (although Rangers beat them at Ibrox)
Aberdeen 1-5 Sigma
MyPa knocking out Dundee UTD a few years back was quite bad as well.

Basically we're shite in Europe.

EDIT - My lack of reading skills.

Killie scored 4 against Hibs last Sunday and really should have had 12, imagine what Spurs would have done to no hopers like Hibs mate? :P
Originally written by John Robertson, Hearts legend and hammer of the wee team with 27 fantastic goals!

For the next decade I was driven by desire to crush Hibs at EVERY opportunity.

It didn’t matter if I scored for the reserves or first team — every goal against them gave me immense satisfaction.

We would've lost by about 5 as well, no doubt about it.

The difference is that whilst a lot of Hearts fans are sound people, as a collective group they can be so smug and full of praise for themselves that isn't merited whatsoever. To see them make a total c**t of it is hilarious.

We weren't cheated, that idiot Hay told to us to sit on the lead once we had it and losing one goal was bad enough we would have went through on away goals but rather than attack the Icelanders we still sat back and let them score another. We should have hammered them as they were no better than the likes of East Fife or Cowdenbeath. Hay should have been punted after that game but spineless Yorkston waited until we were a bawhair from relegation before doing the right thing.

I would rather get thrashed by Spurs and have the other good results Hearts have had in Europe recently than Hibs shocking record of being beaten by groups of farmers.
