Barton is off his head...
In our racing stripes, we rejoice at being "connected"
Without touching, thank god for the internet
We stare at our screens, all our lives, what a waste of eyes
'Till the electrical storm blows our fuses
And we gaze, dumbfounded, at the rain

I would have given Gervinho a red simply for his hairstyle.

Also Barton is hilarious, yes everyone knows he's a complete and utter numpty, yet he's entertaining.

Watched the whole thing earlier - I know it was the guys debut in the league , and he will take time to find his feet, but I thought Gervinho was murder. Absolutely torture.

I love how Barton acts like he's a tough guy but one little slap and he goes down as if he's been shot.

Pardew talking about diving when Barton goes down after a little slap?

Barton should have been off, Song should have been off, and Gervinho was rightfully sent off.

I haven't watched his MotD interview, but I thought Wenger was disappointingly reasonable in his ESPN interview. I was watching and hoping for fireworks, but all he said was that he thought that both players should have been punished equally, which I agreed with. What did he say on MotD?

Was the ball still in play when Barton pulled Gervinho up? Is that a Peno?

That's what I thought. I haven't heard a single pundit mentioning it, aside from Jonathan Wilson on Twitter.

Good work from Jason Roberts in the build up to Formica's goal. Top work.
