A scandalous penalty decision and looks even worse from the replay. Conroy creamed his pants at giving that.

Never a penalty and it's difficult to understand how anyone can think it is.

On a positive note, our defence looked very well organised.

First time I've seen the penalty incident, and FFS, that's never a penalty.

It looks harsh certainly but that's far from the best angle to see it at I'd think and it's interesting that Archibald's reaction after it's given is to give a mouthful to the Thistle player who made an arse of the original clearance rather than to make much complaint to the referee. In fact Thistle in general don't seem to have been especially vociferous in their complaints.

The referee is not going to change his mind, if he argues its not a penalty he will most probably pick up at least a booking depending on the words he uses. Never a penalty in a million years.

For example the Queen of the South lad got a straight red for verbally abusing the ref after we got a penalty.

That's true.

I can't, however, see either of Archibald's legs attempt to flick out at all.

Livingston 4-2 Dundee.

Impressed by Livi on that showing. They're certainly tenacious.

Ayr away at Somerset Park, best game i've seen for a while, both teams attacking, nice football, great atmosphere. Somerset reminds me of Brockville fantastic gorund. Couldn't believe the last minute with the disallowed goal, i was leaping around the terraces giving it laldi! And then i saw the glag, unbelieveable scenes.

I can imagine.

I bet they went along the lines of "What the f**k is a glag?", together with looks of utter utter astonishment, tinged with a little fear. Much like that moment when, on a Sunday morning, hungover to f**k from a night of Guiness drinking followed by a dodgy chicken pakora, you do that really bad fart where you are not entirely sure if you've shat yourself or not.

Or it was a typo and you meant flag. That probably makes more sense actually.

Good point. Smacks of hypocrisy that they're banning the broadcast of their games online from other sources and going on and broadcasting them live themselves.

Does this have SFL permission?

Are the other clubs involved paid for this?

Is this pay-per-view option available for opposition fans in the UK? It would appear to me that they are merely offering a similar service to what was offered by the Morton webcast yet Falkirk FC decided they didn't want anyone treading on their toes rather than breaking any rules.

Falkirk TV has a rights agreement in place with IMG/SFL. All live matches whether by subscription or pay-per-view are available to fans outside the UK and Ireland only.

And are Falkirk's opponents paid for matches involving them? Last I recall this was something that had to be done were a team to produce an end of season DVD or the like so I'd assume the same rules apply.

We pay the SFL and I would assume this money will eventually work it's way down to the member clubs as any other TV or sponsorship deal.
