what are the admission prices throughout the league?
a friend at clach yesterday told me that its now £8 to get in there,a 33% price hike from last season and this is a team that struggles to get spectators in and offers no cover to those chosing to stand. This, allied to the fact we are in a recession, makes such a hike scandalous, imo.
Im a neutral when i go to hfl games(though i tend to favour the highland teams when they play grampian ones) and go as often as i can when im not down the road at scotland or cowden games but its getting to the stage where im doubting if im going to be getting value for money at the hfl which has always been one of its draws.put it this way,at some point im going to stop going to any old game like i do now and cherry pick what i do go to.
Opinions?am i being a dick here or am i right to be questioning this.

£8 seems a bit steep. I'm neutral as well so might be put off going along to watch Clach especially if skint. I wouldn't be happy at paying that plus extra for a pie and a tea to watch a shit game in sleet against Rothes in December. On the other hand Clach have had their money troubles so must be thinking the price hike won't put off those who already go to their games.

£7 to get in at Lossie and Inverurie. Don't think there will be too many members of the £8 club yet, but Clach are skint and need funds so its not much of a surprise.

we at wick academy have only put ours upto £7 this year after being £6 for the last 6 years or so,
i don't think £8 is too steep compared to the prices for the dross in the spl

Last season it was £7.00 at North Lodge Park and an extra £1 if you wanted to sit in the stand. This season it is £8.00 min, but you can choose to sit in the stand or not. The season ticket is the same price as last season £110. TBH I don't find the prices to be to bad. It's certainly better quality than what you get for SPL prices which is what I was used to paying.

These prices seem to be pretty decent to be fair, is that season ticket price about par for the course across the HFL?
If i was still watching HFL football i would be happy enough to pay that for a seasons worth of watching my team, i'm assuming that it doesn't include cup games as per the standard season tickets?

Speaking with my nephew up in Buckie, their season tickets for adults are £99 standing and £99 for the stand and Juvenile £55 for the same standing and sitting, League only.
Not bad to watch the league champions i would say.
Anyone know the cheapest in the SHFL?

Fort were the cheapest last time I was there, charging only £4, but I think they're up to £6 now. Thats probably still the cheapest.

turriff is £7 to get in and an extra £1 for the stand, season ticket last season was sitting at £90 which for the decent entertainment and quality (mostly) of football we play i would pay that any time

i think the cheapest anywhere in hl is £7 a few are £8, also clubs charge £1 for stands. Afew clubs charge £1 for programmes like Brora,s which is very poor and takes 30 seconds to read, the majority charge £1.50 for a programme, some charge £2.00. We charge £1.50 for ours and was told by a Vale committee member last home game it would take him all night to read, so at least its value for money lol

Been hearing Buckie Thistle have been ripping off fans recently.
Game against East Stirling they charged fans £10 to get in when Deveronvale only charged £8 for the Berwick Rangers game
And their supporters club have been at it big time, Forres bus on saturday they charged Adults £12 and Juniors/OAPs £8......Deveronvale charged Adults £6 and Juniors/OAPS £3.....
No wonder a few people in the Buckie area are swapping there Green & White scarf for a Red & White one.

Usual door tax is £7, or was last season. Cup prices will be somewhere between Keiths usual charge and Arbroaths, as the clubs have to agree on a price. Buckie charged a tenner for their game against East Stirlingshire.
