Booked up within about 15 minutes of the draw. May descend to cloud seven or eight some time soon. Unlikely.

Going to try and get to the home leg of this with Hearts supporting mates, would prefer it at Tynecastle as Tynie's the best stadium in the country when it's full for atmosphere, moving to Murrayfield would take the shine off it in my opinion. Any indication of prices yet ?

Please tell me this will be on proper TV and not some shite PPV channel? This has the potential to be a cracker of a tie.
And what?

Wouldn't mind heading to Tynecastle for this.
Tickets would be hard to come by mind you.

If we don't change this game to Murrayfield then we're missing a trick, there would be over 50k at a game like that, and with TV and sponsor money, it's a cracking money spinner!

Just booking my train ticket just now. Get the tickets and it'll ace. I don't even care if they hump us though I'd love a good attempt. This is tie is what Europe is all about and it ll be an experience to cherish...anything out of this is a bonus.

Think your perhaps being a bit unrealistic with the 50k.
Spurs are a big side but aren't a major name like Man Utd. 30k max at Murrayfield i'd say.

Assume the answer is "no", but could the legs be reversed owing to both Fulham and Spurs being down for 2nd leg at home, or Tuesday, as happens in Liverpool/Lisbon/Glasgow/Athens etc.?

We had over 30k for teams like Schalke and Athens. 50k might be unrealistic, but we'd certainly get over 30k.
I still want it at Tynecastle, though.

Last 25 years - 2 Champions League trophies from English clubs, and 1 Europa/UEFA Cup, best league in the world don't you know!
It would be a better stat if it was true. And of course, English clubs were banned from Europe in 5 of those years.
CL: Man Utd (1999), Liverpool (2005), Man Utd (2008)
EL/UEFA: Liverpool (2001)
It also seems fair to include the Cup Winners Cup.
CWC: Man United (1991), Arsenal (1994), Chelsea (1998)

I'm aware of that, and the fact it's a huge population. Nonetheless I'm not aware of 2 ties being played in the same city on the same night anytime recently, hence asked if it could be changed by UEFA.
I believe that the answer to your question is that it could. The possibility's been raised on Kickback, and someone said (although it hasn't yet been substantiated) that ties taking place within 20 miles of each other can potentially be subject to change.

...but not any more, as the Fulham game has now been switched.

Cheers. Could be bad for those who've booked train tickets...
Having done a quick (and therefore not 100% reliable) check on Wikipedia, there have only been 3 occasions since the Heysel Ban and CL era when 2 London clubs have played in the same round of the UC/EL. On no occasion did they play the same leg at home, although whether through luck-of-the-draw/reversal isn't clear.
EDIT:
... I wonder if the Ukrainian equivalent of P&B has now got gutted Dnipro fans who've just bought a dud Easyjet flight!!

My apologies, I was in 'the zone' and in an arguing mode which clearly means I can't read properly! My point is to do with the amount of money spent and the returns for that money. I don't think since the start of the Premiership, English clubs have done enough to justify their own self titled 'best league ever in the universe' and the fact that they tend to look down on the Europa league and even their own League Cup.

What will the allocation be?
I'd imagine there might be a few home tickets available anyway.

I'm sure someone said that UEFA rules state away fans should get 5% of the stadium. Wiki gives a capacity of 36,230, would would give us a minimum of 1,811 seats. I'd be hopeful of a few more on offer but it could be wishful thinking.

Have tickets for the home match started going on sale already??
The reason I ask is I went on the Hearts website to try and book some e tickets for other games and got put in a queue ,which has never happened before.
Now the page isn't downloading,as it looks like it crashed due to high demand.
I know unlikely that things would move this quickly, but cant think of a reason why this has happened
ETA:ignore this, just managed to get back on,obviously some gremlins in the system

It hasnt been done yet but I can imagine a fair whack of fans lurking on the site to get in on that action the moment they become available.

It's the SPL versus the EPL. It's Scotland versus England. It's the haves versus the have nots . It's David versus Goliath. It's the Jambos versus Spurs.
