Hull vs Blackpool starting fairly soon to kick off the Championship season. Fancy Hull to win this one.

I've been looking forward to this all day, I've missed Championship football. It's a bit of a Championship feast this weekend with Southampton vs Leeds tomorrow and West Ham vs Cardiff on Sunday to look forward to.

Hope Blackpool win this one tonight.

I really dislike this camera angle.

Hull have played a lot of long ball stuff so far and seem to be dragging Blackpool down to that level too. Hopefully it improves soon.

The young Scottish lad Cairney for Hull looks a prospect.

He's kept the ball well making short decisive passes and his effort from that free kick deserved a goal. My mate who supports hull told me when they got relegated he was gonna be a player. Hopefully he lives up to the tag.

Barry Ferguson is strolling this so far - it's always two-touch from him. He looks like Xavi in this league.

Brady, the boy Hull have on loan from Man Utd, has shown some good touches. Apart from the free kick there's not been much else to shout about so far.

Hull keeper looks a bit dodgy! Three times now he's came out for a cross and missed it.

Absolutely cracking strike from Taylor-Fletcher.

The lad Sutherland coming on for Blackpool is Scottish - whats his story, coming from a US scholarship or something? I didn't quite catch what commentators said

He played a couple of trial games here a few weeks ago, with St Mirren and Dumbarton i think. Was ready to sign for Reading when Blackpool stole in. I think it was a scholarship.

That's a great win for Blackpool ... Hull had them under some amount of pressure but they held on.

I thought Barry Ferguson was very poor tonight. His passing was piss!

Craig Cathcart looks a decent player

I didn't know Ferguson signed for Blackpool until tonight. Very good signing for them.

Thought Blackpool looked pretty decent last night - Cathcart looks like he'll be very solid for them, and I'm sure Ferguson will prove an excellent signing.

I know it's been said already, but what a goal from Taylor-Fletcher.
