Here is the deal, I’m a self-confessed cheapskate and therefore i have decided to post a thread where people can post their latest bargains to share with other users of the site. I’ll update the thread on a regular basis with any bargains I spot and I’d like others to do the same.

I'll start it off from now and untill the end of the week every drink at costa is half price between the hours of 4 too 6 pm.

cheers

I was going to complain about this and go "There's not as if there's a forum for this..."

But really? That's a good deal.

Just go around punching shopkeppers until they sell you various essential goods at knock down prices, much like the storyline in the classic Nintendo video game Shatner Hand.

Ben and Jerry's 500ml ice cream is £2.49 in Spar, I was feeling pleased with this until I saw Morrisons are selling it for £2.

Only a complete bellend would create a topic about this when there is a section set aside specifically for bargains!

you know calling me a bellend at eleven o'clock at night on a forum doesn't make you hard, it just show everyone you haven't got a set of balls. there again with a name like mrpink i think they knew that already.

You can get lots of free stuff in shops if you stick it in your pocket and run out of said shops really really quickly.

Dont stop mind, the shopkeeper will ask you to pay for it otherwise and may involve the police.

Probably not.

It does beg the point though. If we're not going to post "bargains" to the Bargain Forum because it's too quiet what on earth is the point in maintaining a Bargain Forum?

Their newsletter's actually really good. Some of the stuff is properly cheapskate, but most of it is good info, like when to change electricity company, cheap flights etc.

question.

does anyone besides from me use their laptop to watch tv? it saves you paying for a tv licence and is cheaper when your paying for your electricity. moveover rather than going and getting a freeview/sky box you get all the freeview chanels on http://www.tvcatchup.com/ for free. all you need to do is sign up.

that is what i do, rather than paying money on a telly.

cheers

I'd reckon only a complete bell-end would create a new account to post that.
