he stoped playing on a Sunday in 2009 after finding religion when he was injured in 05. But between 2005 and the end of 09 he only played on game on a Sunday during the 08 Six Nations

James O'Connor, born in New Zealand to Kiwi parents with some South African grandparents yet he plays for Australia.

These eligibility lines in rugby get even more blurry by the year.

Australia are too weak in the back line, great players that they are but they don't like it up them, Cooper panics as soon as he's tackled and starts throwing the ball all over the place.

Bit rich coming from a Kiwi. Without players from Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, Cook Islands etc the All Blacks would struggle to fill a teamsheet.

I feel New Zealand deserve to win the World Cup, they are too big a rugby nation not to have won it more than they already have. Also want them to atleast get to the final as i love watching the haka :P

Yes the haka is one of the greatest things about rugby. Fantastic to watch and seeing it live is a brilliant experience.
Scotland will reach the QF then get knocked out and NZ to win it. Surely this is their time? Plus I don't see any team beating NZ when they're at their best, even Australia.

So, England vs Argentina. An England win would probably be best for Scotland wouldn't it? Would most people settle for just getting through the group... in which case we could probably do with Argentina getting a bonus point-less defeat, or do people actually think we can win the group to give us a chance of avoiding New Zealand and getting to the semis?

I think I'd probably settle for a Quarter-Final defeat, to be honest, so long as the All Blacks don't beat us by an embarassing score.

I acknowledge it might go against the grain to cheer for England but an English win against the Pumas might be the best result for Scotland. Otherwise it's possible we could beat the Argentinians and still not qualify.

The difference being the fact that Auckland has the highest Polynesian population in the world outside of Polynesia so many of them were born and brought up in New Zealand.

Don't know a thing about rugby other than you have to pass it sideways and you have to touch the ball over the line to score a tri. I do however always enjoy watching scotland, should.in my opinion be alright in the pool we are in. Looking forward to it.

anyone getting up for the scotland game?

I have the feeling i'll do what i do when i watch grand prix at stupid o'clock, wake up early, watch the pish beforehand, then fall asleep as the lights go out / whistle goes :(
