All four P&B Prediction Leagues for the new season are now online

The first quarter fixtures for all four prediction leagues are currently in the system covering games 1-11 in the SPL and 1-9 in each of the SFL divisions.

Accessing the Prediction Leagues

The predictor can be accessed via the top menu link on the homepage or directly by ** Clicking Here **

Logging In

If you played last season or any of the last few seasons you can just login using the same credentials you used last time round. If you are new to the predictor you will need to follow the link on the left under "New User". Note that you can't login to the predictor using your forum user and password, this is a totally separate system.

Joining the games

Even if you played last season you need to join the games for this time round. Once you are logged in click on "My Profile" and tick the box(es) next to the league(s) you want to join. You can play in all four if you want - it's all free !

Predicting

You need to remember and predict the scores on the games all the way through the season as we won't remind you to do it ! I'll put on batches of games at a time and if you have populated a "default score" in your profile then you can click on "My Missing Predictions" and just click "Predict" to make your default prediction on all outstanding games. At least that way you will still score some points.

Remember the default scores do not automatically apply - you MUST login - click My Missing Predictions and then "predict"

Scoring
Max score for a correct outcome and completely correct score is get 10 Points. This is broken down as follows;

Correct home score; 1
Correct away score; 1
Correct result; 3
Correct score; 5

So if you predict a home team will win 3-0 and they win 2-0 you would receive 4 points, 1 point for getting the away team score correct and 3 points for getting the outcome correct.

There are no additional points on offer this season for weekly or monthly winners

Prizes

Are the same as last season. The winners of each of the four leagues will receive a £100 gift voucher to use on the Amazon website.

ps; Your name will not automatically appear on the leaderboard until the first games have been played !

Up to and including Week 22 (Jan 2nd 2012). Note also the week 2 game between Celtic and Dunfermline is now online, it kicks off 23rd Nov 19:45. Find it in week 2 games.

1st Division Competition
Up to and including Week 19 (Jan 2nd 2012).

2nd Division Competition
Up to and including Week 19 (Jan 2nd 2012)

3rd Division Competition
Up to and including Week 19 (Jan 7th 2012)

[Chinese Whisperer]

Div, when I enter scores for games 2-3 weeks in advance, they are reset to my default score when I log back in to edit them. Should this happen?

Nope !

I will test that out, haven't heard that from anywhere else but doesn't mean it isn't a bug !

All four of the prediction leagues have now been populated with games to the end of the season.

In addition all previously postponed games have been moved to their new date, with all previous predictions carried across.

I've decided not to run a champions league predictor this year, as instead we will be running a big competition for the Euro champs in the summer, more details to follow on that !
