To be fair he always had great ability but was just let down by trips to the pie shop. Seems to like a drink aswell. I've seen him out in Inverness a few times in a right state. I still think he'd be a valuable addition to fraserburgh though. Les Fridge really let him down at Nairn...

My mate who plays for Clach who knows him really wellsays he is moving abroad this summer so according to my pal this rumour is rubbish. I have heard Fraserburgh never sign any players anyway as they take all of their players from their youth set-up.

p.s. mate reckons formartine will win the league this year! Just throwing it out there haha

Was Scottish footballs longest serving manager, shame it had to end this way.
Inverness City - Juniors North Region - 1st Division Champions 2010/11
Inverness City - Juniors North Region - 1st Division Runners up 2009/10
Inverness City - Juniors North Region - 2nd Division Champions 2008/09
Inverness City - Juniors North Region - Elginshire Cup winners 2008/09

Charlie Duncan has joined Peterhead FC as part of the Youth & Community team. Let's hope he finds another Scott Murray. :)

I'm calling a ready made replacement to John Sheran.

Hope not. Charlie's forte is working with young players and Youth Coach is ideal for him. No good with experienced players which ended up being his downfall at Fraserburgh.

It might work out as a caretaker manager until we get someone decent in.

Good score for Fraserburgh today in the Scottish and overall the Highland league teams should be pleased with their performances.

civil denied stonewall pen, fraserburgh keeper should have had a straight red for handeling outside the box, referee, local,on first name terms with home side 2 civil players lying injured, well before the goal, refused treatment, fraserburgh only won this game with the help of the so called ref

I took in the Fraserburgh Civil Service game yesterday and have to agree with the above comment. I don't often comment on refs performance as I think that they do a good job and tend to get a hard time, however the ref yesterday was very poor. It was a pretty decent game with Fraserburgh better in first half and Civil better in the second but the mistakes the ref made cost Civil goals and the mistakes he made for fraserburgh never cost goals.

The Fraserburgh keeper did handle the ball outside the box and should have been sent off and with all three subs already being used and Civil well on top at that point that was the biggest decision he got wrong, along with Fraserburghs third goal being a free kick to Civil which was not given.

Supposed to be a grade 1 ref..........horrendus
