Been told im getting put forward for county under 25s next season. Delightful.
Also got a weekend planned in oban with some of the lads for a pairs tournament/drinking trip in mid-August. Going to be carnage. Worst ive ever been on the green is when i was so drunk i couldnt even see the jack to set it. Spewing in the club toilets was also a bit of a lowlight.

Got beat first round of the west lothian masters the other night. 21-18, and i could have won it too. Always next year.

Last 32 of the lanarkshire top 10 today. Away to a team 8 divisions above us.
I'm in the triples, should be interesting.

I've just skipped a team to the Bowls Canterbury Fours title, winning against a guy called Gary Lawson, google him

Been on the Bellsburn bus to Oban a few times. It is a great day out. Me and my partner - Jim F - who now plays at Linlithgow decided we would lose in the first round to spend more time in the pub. Walk out to play and find we are against 2 80 year old women wearing pink, fluffy baffies instead of bowling shoes. To avoid any embarrassment we decide to try and win this one before losing the second. The old dears beat us 12-1. We took some stick on the way home.

Never mind that. How many wrong biases did he throw?
None that I noticed but maybe he was too subtle for us all

After winning the Canterbury title, we went forward to a Regional Qualifer for a place in the Nationals next month, we won our first game up there but unfortunately we lost the second game yesterday meaning we narrowly missed out, was the first game we had lost along the way in our 10th game of the competition, we had gone undefeated all the way through the Canterbury event so it was a disappointing ending but all good experience.

Any players in Aberdeen? Thinking of joining up for the new season with either Northern, Westburn or Kittybrewster/Woodside?
