Very sad that Steve Sanderson has left. Also Ross will be a very big loss too but I am sure will do well with County. Never saw the best of Stuart as he wasnt there too long. Graeme Stewart and Gary Farquhar will be missed too so a major rebuild for first time in a while at City be interesting to see how team play without these lads not really heard about new lads will head along tomorrow to see how they go against Ellon. Thank f**k new seasons almost here :-)

Good to see you back Mac, and looking forward to the new season and with some new faces at the club as well. Though I would be surprised if we are as good as we were over the last couple of seasons probably take a while to fully get going. we still have the same defence so we should be sound at the back, Colin Mason and Jamie Fraser in the midfield, Dan Murdoch will get his chance on the left midfield, we will have Gary Miller back. So still a strong team though I would expect Glentanar to be favourites for the league, we will be up there possibly with Buchanhaven and New Elgin as well. Will miss the first two games myself but should be at the Portgordon match, then New Elgin at home. Hopefully we can return the hospitality they showed us at Pinefields end of last season. Can't wait.:D

24 games ( 3 x 8 = 24)
some will have 2 at home and 1 away, the rest will have 1 at home and 2 away.

ta, that's what I thought. 16 seemed too few and 32 too many.

Danny's injury has flared up again so you will be lucky to see him this season which is a shame as i really rate him, enjoyed playing next to him at Saints last season.

I'm surprised at that spoke to him few weeks back and he said he was struggling still. Pre Season has gone well we beat Strathspey 2-1 drew with Clach 1-1 and drew 0-0 with New Elgin Saturday so ready for new season. What's happening at City Mac? Few players seem to have left.

Decent start for the saints will get through early when city are away Vinnie. Losing them lads will be a big blow all really good players they had some new faces there on Saturday unsure of the new guys names but all looked ok I would say. City should have won by more plenty possession but good game to watch. Heard good things about them Elgin soap dodgers for season ahead meant to have signed some good new players so that's a decent result for you.

To be honest we were unlucky not to win but as long as we keep doing what we've done pre season then i'm hopeful we can have a good season. Will be interesting to see City's line up this season then after losing boys, New Elgin could be the dark horses for the league think they are missing players right now though through injuries and holidays etc.

Good result for Cruden Bay, hopefully they on the way back up.

Does anyone know if Steve Gray and George Webster both of whom played for Cruden Bay are still involved in the junior game?

The name change isn't working for me either, will change it after the weekend and stick with the new one probably for good, but I'm not using Beastie again (Pineapple is the nickname of racing driver Alex Zanardi). What was the score on Saturday?.

Tomorrow's RAF Lossiemouth v Bishopmill game is to take place at RAF KINLOSS. K/o time unchanged at 2.30pm.

This is due to the football pitch at RAF Lossie still being - a rugby pitch !

Results post above lists the midweek RAF game as having been played at Lossie but apparently that went ahead at Kinloss too.
