Good results for the Belgian sides today.

Zestafoni 3-3 Club Brugge - Brugge should probably be winning that match, but they have a good amount of away goals and if they avoid defeat they should go through (unless they have a mental 4-4, 5-5 or something).

Standard Liege 1-0 Helsingborgs - 1-0 is okay, avoided conceding an away goal and have a lead going into the 2nd leg.

Bursaspor 1-2 Anderlecht - The best result for Belgium tonight, two away goals and a lead to take home - delighted with that.

Great result for Shamrock Rovers, a 1-1 draw at home to Partizan Belgrade. Slovan beating Roma and Maribor beating Rangers also have to go down as surprise results. Lazio beat Rabotnicki 6-0, so at least Hearts didn't get the biggest humping tonight. Differdange can be proud of their efforts against PSG, only losing 4-0 after conceding 2 goals in stoppage time.

I don't know tbh. Maribor trounced Hibs last season, and they will have gotten stronger as they competed in the CL this season. This was never going to be easy for Rangers and I'm not surprised they lost. For me, Sion drawing at Parkhead was a bigger shock.

HJK 2-0 Schalke
Ekranas 1-0 Hapoel Tel-Aviv
Aalesund 2-1 AZ Alkmaar
Maccabi Tel-Aviv 3-0 Panathinaikos
Slovan Bratislava 1-0 AS Roma

Zestafoni 3-3 Club Brugge
Nordsjaelland 0-0 Sporting Lisbon
Shamrock Rovers 1-1 Partizan Belgrade
Atletic Bilbao 0-0 Trabzonspor
Celtic 0-0 Sion

Those are shocks for me. The wins were unexpected, although the Tel Aviv one is mainly there because I wouldn't expect them to beat Pana 3-0.

Zestafoni, Nordsjaelland and Shamrock earned great results. Sion did well to get a draw at Parkhead. The only reason Trabzonspor are there is because they played with 10 men for 85 minutes.

Hannover obviously don't have the European pedigree of Seville, but the home record recently at the AWD Arena is good. 12 wins out of 17 last year, including amongst others a 3-1 win against Bayern, 4-0 against Bremen, 3-2 against Hamburg.

Was at the Seville game, H96 over the piece deserved the victory, but if they sit back in Spain (as they did for much of last night's second half) Seville will gub them (which I think will happen anyway).

Bilbao have a bye into the league stage, as their opponents, Trabzonspor, will replace the corrupt Fenerbahce in the CL. ;)

That is some bald patch Jan Schlaudraff has got!
It's getting kind of hard to believe things are going to get better. I've been drowning too long to believe that the tide is going to turn. And I've been living too hard to believe things are going to get easier now. I'm still trying to shake off the pain from the lessons I've learned. And if I see Van Helsing, I swear to the lord I will slay him. AHA HA HA. He take you from me but I swear I won't let it be so. AHA HA HA. Blood, will run done his face, when he is decapitated AH! His head on my mantle is how I will let this world know...how much I love you.
Die, die, die....I can't

Look out for PSV's second goal against SV Ried tonight. I just saw it on a stream, and it's a cracking finish from Jeremain Lens with the outside of his foot from the acutest of angles.

2-0 up just before half-time. They could have 6 or 7 games in hand come Christmas.

What are BBC Scotland showing that's so unmissable they can't screen the Celtic or Rangers match?

Oh, "Traffic Cops". Fair enough... Posted Image

They could have paid for it out of the comedy budget rather than the sports one.

I assume they'll be "pot 4" in the Europa League draw

Imagine if they actually progress in the League Cup too

The legs are going a bit for Shamrock, they will need some luck. Their fans are the boys though.

I'm watching the Sevilla-Hannover game. Tied at 1-1 on the night, the Germans leading 3-2 on aggregate, but Hannover had the clearest penalty claim you'll ever see turned down a few minutes ago. Ref bottled it big time.
