After everything that's happened with Sion etc, surely UEFA's tolerance will be pushed to the limit on this one should Besiktas go through with this.

Why?

It's the exact opposite of the Sion situation. It hardly causes them much in the way of bother to give a bye to Braga and PSV. I doubt either of those clubs will complain too much.

You could then probably expect other teams looking for fairly poor excuses to withdraw from the tournament as they will look at the competition as a distraction.

Caldwell is actually a great centre half however consistency can be an issue for him, technically his distribution of the ball for a defender is as good as Pique or Puyol.

They won't withdraw... it would make UEFA even more angry with Turkish football generally, plus they'd get a European ban of X years that would affect their income and competitiveness going forward.

The competition gets going again tonight and LOTS of intriguing fixtures in there. I have to say, I really like the look of this competition. It was fun last season and it's been good this season.

Loko are having the best of it, and not just due to conditions.

edit: and as I type that Iker Muniain scores :P

Easy win in the end for United. Think they could put 3 or 4 part Ajax next week.

The Estadio do Dragao is the best looking stadium in the world in my opinion. I would love to go and see a game there.

When you remember the great Ajax teams and then you see that tonight

That said Man U were not great but in the end as you say it was easy enough

You're wrong. Clichy to blame.

Nasri shaping up to be the dud of the season.

Nah. Hart should have been covering for him in the left back position.

Definitely his fault.

I loved how every foul Man City gave away = "not much in that...made the most of it"
It's getting kind of hard to believe things are going to get better. I've been drowning too long to believe that the tide is going to turn. And I've been living too hard to believe things are going to get easier now. I'm still trying to shake off the pain from the lessons I've learned. And if I see Van Helsing, I swear to the lord I will slay him. AHA HA HA. He take you from me but I swear I won't let it be so. AHA HA HA. Blood, will run done his face, when he is decapitated AH! His head on my mantle is how I will let this world know...how much I love you.
Die, die, die....I can't
