Some crazy shit going down in the Europa tonight already.

Vaduz won 3-1 in Serbia to put Vojvodina out on away goals. Vaduz scored in the 97th minute to make it through.

Even more surprisingly, Differdange 03 of Luxembourg beat Levadia Tallinn 1-0 in Estonia to make it through. This also makes them the second team from Luxembourg to progress from a two-legged tie in Europe this season, which will presumably do wonders for their co-efficient.

Hearts to battle out a competitive draw with Paks. ( 1-1 )

Fulham and Stoke will take care of their Croatian counterparts. ( 2-0 Stoke, 2-0 Fulham )

The Ukranians will be too strong for St.Patrick's and Sligo Rovers. ( 4-1 Karpaty Lviv, 3-0 Vorskla Poltava )

Most ties to go with form and strength of country.

I'm sure Fulham will be fairly pleased - they should win at home.

Stoke might be worried about going to Croatia with a 1-0 lead though.

Stoke draw Thun (also away leg first), which isn't too far from Sion. Possibility of switching one of the ties round?

Item on the Bert Kassies site suggesting that UEFA are going to expel Olympiakos Volos, who've been caught-up in the Greek match-fixing scandal, and reinstate their QR3 opponents... my favourities of old from Luxembourg, FC Differdange 03, formerly "FC Red Boys of Differdange".

This would place the Luxembourg part-timers only 1 tie from the EL group-stages, albeit needing to beat mighty PSG to progress.

Good draws for the Belgian sides.

Club Bruges shouldn't have much bother beating Georgian side Zestafoni, and Starndard Liege should overcome Helsingborgs. Anderlecht have the toughest tie against Bursaspor, but I think they can win it. If all three can win, we'll have four teams in the Group stages (with Genk in the CL playoff), come on the Belgians!

Also, mon Hearts, Sion and Maribor.

It could be double figures in both legs if PSG send out all their new signings. What's the record aggregate score in European competition?

UEFA have thrown Greek side Volos out of the Europa League because of their involvement in a match-fixing scandal.Volos was scheduled to face Paris Saint-Germain in a playoff tie on Aug 18 and 25.

According to the BBC website.

Finnish side HJK have beaten Schalke 2-0! And a Lithuanian side, Ekranas, won their first leg 1-0 against Hapoel Tel-Aviv

Three Belgian clubs in action tonight. Club Brugge went to Georgia and picked up a 3-3 draw away to Zestafoni, good amount of away goals and they SHOULD win the home leg.

Currently Bursaspor 0-0 Anderlecht after 20 minutes, and Standard Liege 0-0 Helsingborgs after 10 minutes.

Former Hamilton winger Sebastian Sorsa was in the Helsinki side, and 40 year-old Jari Litmanen made an appearance off the bench.

Bursaspor lead 1-0 against Anderlecht :(

Liege still 0-0, and they lost Steven Defour recently to Porto which doesn't help.

Differdange vs PSG kicked off at the same time as the Hearts game and is still 0-0. Scottish football is now officially worse than Luxembourgish football.
