Whitehill play like fairies so yes i do!
Jambo16 is GC but no doubt he will deny it to save face!
Lets face it NB your beloved ww have been pish for a few seasons now.
Raymond Carr is the only one who can turn it around and the ww committee should have asked him to return before they gave Paget (1stdiv) manager the job!!
Lots if cash wasted on guffie players with huge opinions of themselves!
Paget gone
Jambo16 out
Carr to return!!!

yes apologies just someone trying to dig up some dirt from months ago.

Back to the thread,do you think they have blown it after yesterdays result ?

Preston and maybes heriot watt wi their premier experience may just edge it ?

Still a long way to go though.

Good luck to ALL teams in the mix.

Rather unfortunately, HRA have had to play Preston, HW (twice), Craigy, Eyemouth and Coldstream in the 9 matches since Lawrie took over so we've had a good view of the leadership race! Of those top five teams, they were all good defensively, but perhaps HW had the most strength going forward, then Eyemouth. But Preston are top and must be there for a reason. Good to see how competitive it is though. We are still planning on making it more competitive down the other end, 10 matches to go and plenty of opportunity to beat the last few years' totals.

I don't think craigy are out of it just yet. If they can put a run together now until end of the season then they have every chance. Altho, losing 1nil at home to Coldstream isn't the way to start! I think they need someone to step up and score a few goals for them, because altho they lost a few to Duns last week they have as good a record as anyone else defensively in the league.

Preston, Heriot Watt or Eyemouth. Any 2 from 3. Craigie aren't good enough this season.

i Wouldnt rule out Coldstream just yet, on a great run at the moment having lost only 1 of there last 10 games winning 7 in the process. there last 2 of which coming against two teams above them in the form of herriot watt and craigroyston. with all of the top 3 teams still to play them again if they can keep this form going who knows come the end of the season.

I was at the game on Saturday and the weather did spoil it. However I was at a few Craigie games last season and this season so far and they seem to have gone backwards quite a bit when it comes to playing good football.

Question I would have is why are they not using more of their under 19s ?

I noticed their coach there on Saturday but no 19s players. The 19s at Craigie are very good and with a bit of thought the way forward for Craigie could be to get these lads playing.

They drew with the seniors 2-2 and they gave CSS seniors a good game over the Xmas period I have been told as well.

I watch quite a bit of the under 19s and have noticed most of the other teams in the 19s league are using quite a few of their 19s except Craigie .......?

It's good enough for Spartans, Jordan Finnie is getting regular game time off the bench & still banging the goals in for our U19's as well as a couple of others from our U19's get match time.

The boy Irvine will make a difference to Craigie when he"s back from his injury. He could be the difference.

Preston to win it and 2nd between Heriot and Eyemouth. If Craigy get a shit result on saturday they could be out of it. Coldstream's are enjoying themselves just now but inexperience might start to tell. I like how no one seems to rate Gala in all this, if they get a head of steam up, they could go on a good run, they've been the best team i've seen this season in the 1st

As I said in a topic I started earlier in the season he was never gonna see the season out as he has a poor bunch of players down there, can't actually believe k.dodd is still playing eos football. To be fair to George he has actually done better than I thought but I think a good start to the season aided that. I'm sure he will get another team to be average at soon anyway.
