Why is everyone saying we'll be changing tactics just because we now have 3 centre-backs? It's called having a squad.
I don't think I or anyone is saying 'change of tactics'. What I am saying is that I want the best XI on the field and with the numbers that are now in the squad which is, arguably, quite strong, then it may be a worthwhile debate amongst fans as to how we get the best XI on the field.

Got to admit im not a big fan off all this Smith to replace McGovern talk always looks dodgy to me whenever i have seen him, must be other decent goalkeepers out there that we could sign.

I remember watching the Hibs game when they drew with Motherwell 6-6 and Smith was absolutely horrendous.

To be fair we can't make an honest assessment based on a handful of games. Personally I think he would be a decent enough replacement for McGovern, especially considering the other goalkeepers that are looking for clubs (ie - Andrew McNeil, Kevin Cuthbert and David Hutton). We aren't going to get a goalkeeper that doesn't make mistakes, even McGovern had a few howlers.
If we don't get him then hopefully Adams can pluck an obscure player from nowhere who turns out to be the greatest goalkeeper County has ever seen.

Well that's good news. Why aren't the club announcing it? I wonder if the spending spree will stop there..

True that. I don't think we need another nidfielder.. I don't see where he will fit in with brittain, Ketts, vigurs, and fitz is a midfielder plus Lawson :/

Duncan is probably better than Kettlewell. There, I've said what we were all thinking. Fitzpatrick can offer cover at left-back.

They are waiting until you have a mental breakdown with the constant Russell Duncan obsession until they announce it.

All these new County signing are going up to Dingwall for the max £500
County wage.It looks to me like County are starting to spend there scottish cup final money
just like Queens have done hope you enjoy it till the money runs out.
.
You are one of the options Rocco Quinn has when he leaves Queens next week he plays centre midfield would be another good signing for you.

Very true. Money must be the factor in them coming to us due to re-locating all the way south from Inverness.

To be fair to Keddie, his distribution was miles better in his last season with us.
Did anyone see Flynn's cross-field balls to Smith in the last game of the season, by the way? It wasn't a fluke because he kept on doing them. Remarkable.
