Preston goalie came off his crutches yesterday and its not as serious as first feared. 3 players had to miss training last night after reactions to the surface. No doubt its the future but seems to take a bit of getting used to.

Good news that the goalie has recovered after what had looked like a worrying injury! I spoke to a few people after the game and the general feeling was that the players said they were like cardboard the next day!. Sad news about craig if it is true, and the captain rossi also made way early and not sure if he has trained all week, with the surface being fresh out the packaging it may take some time to wear in. As you said it is definitely the future but its not great news short term if these boys are all struggling due to not being used to it.

Trained on the pitch last nite it is a good surface but was told that it can take 6 months to bed in so the more use it gets the better. Was watching on sat don't think you can blame the surface for any Injurys on sat these things happen Livvys looked to happen when he tried to turn quick and jared his knee but could do the same injury easily on a grass park. It is a shame for him cause he was back playin well and looked like he was enjoying it.
