Peebles Rovers Reserves 1 - 3 Gala Hotspur
A difficult match today but a good victory in the end. Not a lot of football played today and the ball spent more time in the air than on the ground but you get these games from time to time in amateur football.

Anyone have any idea why the HOL - Lauder game was off today?

I watched the Gala Rovers v West Barns game. Came away wondering how the Rovers got beat, they should have had the result beyond doubt by half time and even in the first 20 minutes of the second half had 3 or 4 great chances. Unfortunately because of that you could see what was going to happen and West Barns got 2 sucker punches in towards the end. Some fresh blood and pace in particular needed I think for the Rovers to be serious challengers again.

Yeah I agree that gala deserved something out of the game, but as a team we are delighted with 3 points with the amount of players out and a few of us playing with injuries just to field a team.
