Did Erik Paartalu play with Gretna when they were in the 3rd division? EDIT I'm not even sure he featured for them in the SPL much, forget this one.

Ryan McGuffie is a possibility? Have Queens played St Mirren in any cup since he signed?

Kenny Deuchar is surely one??

Yes, I saw him play (and score) at Annan. I'd be very surprised if he's played at St Mirren Park though.

I don't think Colin Cramb has ever played at Caley Stadium.

Really? How many SPL grounds has Gilfillan been at? He's never played at that level. In fact I think he's only even had a short loan spell in the first division.

Millar has missed Elgin, Montrose and Queens Park (unless St Johnstone played a recent cup semi that I missed)

Id imagine McAlister has missed a few grounds in the SPL as well as the 3rd.

Its probably 2 ex Gretna players, but I cant think who would have played Galabank.

Millar made his Morton debut away to Montrose on 25/02/2003, meaning (I think) he just has Elgin to go to get the full set (his 'Ton debut was 10 days after the last time we played at Borough Briggs).

Right enough with the speculation. It's like being forced to listen to a group of pensioners in the pub arguing about which baker served the best steak pie in 1942! :P

Has anyone emailed the SFA/SFL?

Ah, so he did. Thats not on his Soccerbase profile for some reason. Close but not cigar for Midge.

Thought Stevie Hislop would have played at Parkhead? We played Celtic enough times for him to do so when he was at ICT.

Surely the SFA/SFL would be able to tell us the other two.
And what?

The easiest way to work this out is to get a list of every player that has played at both NSP and Galabank and work backwards from there.

Ok so how do we ascertain that?

NSP has only been there for just over two years, and by my reckoning, St Mirren have played 49 competitive matches there.

The opposing teams who have played there are:

Aberdeen
Celtic
Dundee United
Hamilton
Hearts
Hibs
Inverness
Killie
Motherwell
Rangers
St Johnstone

Alloa
Falkirk
Peterhead

I think the line-ups for all 49 games are on Soccerbase, but it would be fairly time consuming to trawl them all.

The Alloa line-up was:

D. Crawford, S. Walker, M. Brown (G. Carroll, 72), S. Buist, D. McClune, S. Agnew, C. Townsley, B. Ferguson, J. Grant, S. Noble (H. Kerr, 83), M. Gilhaney (B. Carrigan, 76)

The Peterhead line-up was

J. Bateman, R. Mann (C. MacDonald, 23), D. Donald, S. Smith, S. Ross (P. Emslie, 42), N. McVitie, G. Sharp, D. Ross, N. Clark (C. Gethins, 79), M. Bavidge, R. Strachan

I reckon by Friday I could have a list up of all the players who have played at NSP.

Another way to do this would be to phone every person currently playing senior football in Scotland and ask them if they've played at every ground.

The major flaw in your logic is that they don't need to be currently playing. Apart from that it was fullproof.
