I hear that prior to Tuesday nights game between Albion Rovers and Arbroath, Paul Sheerin received a presentation to acknowledge him as the third player to have played at all 42 current Scottish league grounds. Who are the other two?

41 surely? Given that Stenhousemuir and East Stirlingshire are currently ground sharing.

I don't know the answer but since it has to include St Mirren's ground which has only been open for a couple of years there's a limited pool it could include (presuming we're talking about competitive first team games only anyway).

Bobby Mann? Just a guess. Annan may be the problem.

Barry Wilson surely has played at all grounds, but I'm not sure if he has played at the new St. Mirren Park.

Chris Millar? May not have played enough in our 3rd division title campaign though.

EDIT: Wont have played at Annan

Can't be him as he's only played in the second division and SPL.

Pretty sure Mann won't have played at Annan. I take it he played at St Mirren this season in the Cup?

Good possibility having gone through the divisions with Gretna. Likewise Kenny Deuchar would be a strong possibility having gone through the divisions with Gretna, played lower division elsewhere and had spells in the SPL with Hamilton and St Johnstone too. He may well have played at St Mirren.

He certainly won't have done so competitively. He may have played there for us in a closed doors friendly though. Not sure. We certainly played one there (We won 3-2 with Stewart Kean getting the winner) but I don't know the team that played.

As per Wilson, he won't have played at St Mirren competitively but might have done in our closed door friendly.

Ah, fair enough. I don't think it should count to be honest but others may feel differently. Technically it's a first team competition I think.

It most certainly shouldn't. League and 3 official cups only IMO.

Again NSP is the problem.

Clearly is that and Galabank that pose the problems as they are from January 2009 and July 2008 respectively.

Jim Hamilton played the opening day at NSP and missed a penalty too.

However his problem has to be lower leagues since he visited every SPL club but hasn't done that much in lower leagues?

I'm guessing they would class it as played at all the grounds of all league clubs in Scotland and for example Love Street or Greenhill Road for us?

In terms of our own players Darren McGregor is the only one I can think of coming close- but he never did D1, so misses out on a lot there. Could well catch them next year Posted Image

Im surprised at that by looking at the dates but fair enough. He has been at Livi when they were in the 3rd and East Fife in the 2nd within the last 2 years so he will have notched up a few despite not playing that many games, only 11 for Livi and 8 for the Fifers.

Surely someone has the definitive answer?

I'm bored. Soccerbase says this year gave him-

Arbroath
Elgin
Berwick
Queens Park
East Fife
Livi
Forfar
Stenhousemuir
Ayr
Airdrie

Last year added the following to them-

Partick
Queen of the South
Raith
Inverness
Albion Rovers
Annan

Year Before
St Mirren (both grounds)
Hearts
Dunfermline
Motherwell
Dundee United
Aberdeen
Falkirk
Brechin
Rangers

So 24 in two and a bit seasons isn't bad. I suspect other SPL/former SPL ones like Celtic, Kilmarnock, Dundee, St Johnstone will be added if you went further back.

Think about it, 2008/09 onwards both have been at 1st/SPL clubs and neither have played Annan in the cup. Ive said it before but Annan and St Mirren are the key two.

Wyness and Hamilton would be my two guesses.
