Was at the Stow v Hotspur game yesterday. Arrived late though and missed most of the first half. Who was the guy that went in goals after the Hotspur regular keeper was sent off? He looked a really good prospect from what I could see and could be in contention to play regularly in goals I'd have thought. There was mention that it was local legend Doug Cooper but the guy yesterday had a Kenny Everett beard and last time I saw Doug in the Gordon Arms quaffing fizzy wine he didn't have any facial hair. Doug doesn't or hasnt played in goals either has he?

Anyway, unlucky Hotspur, onwards from here I'm sure...

And roll on the next home game, I'm looking forward to getting my mouth round Ivans pie. Sorry, an Ivan pie I meant.

What's the boy McNeish like, heard he was decent but not too keen to play at the back?

The boy Macneish is a decent player, but needs to sort his attitude out. Ever since he came back from University football to play local he's been swanning about like the big man.

Think he was playing under-21s at Heriot Watt, it's a decent standard but way short of East of Scotland, what's his best position? If it's an attitude problem, ah'll maybe have a word wi' his faither.
